Abstract

This research has been carried out at the Kagho mass processing unit (UPH) which has three farmer groups with members of their farmer groups coming from three villages, this research was conducted in July 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) How to process coffee in The coffee yield processing unit (UPH) in the Kagho cooperative, the Radabata village, Golewa sub-district, Ngada district, (2) Perceptions of farmer group members towards the Coffee Produce Processing Unit (UPH) in the Kagho cooperative, Golewa District, Ngada Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method. Determination of respondents using a census, namely by taking 43 members of UPH Kagho, the mass data collected were primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the processing method for Arabica coffee in the UPH Kagho Masa Cooperative, Radabata Village, Golewa District, Ngada Regency was carried out in accordance with the applicable Production Operational Standards (SOP) where the Production Operational Standard included picking coffee cherries, sorting coffee cherries, peeling fruit skins, washing. , fermentation, coffee bean drying, roasting and milling, packaging / packing, and marketing. So that the aroma and taste of coffee are maintained. Farmers' perception of the role of Coffee Processing Unit (UPH) in Kagho Masa Cooperative in coffee farming in Radabata Village Golewa DistrictNgadaDistrict, grouped very well with the achievement of a maximum score of 94.83%. while the farmer's perception of the processing of the result is very good with the achievement of a maximum score of 91.86%.

Abstract

The study has been carried out in the village of lewokeleng , Ile boleng district, east Flores regency in December through January 2021. This research was intended to know; 1) knowing the role of agriculture in the rural empowerment of farmers in the village of lewokeleng, Ile boleng sub district, east flores regency 2) know the farmers’ attitude toward the development of agriculture in the village of lewokeleng, Ileboleng sub district, east Flores regency. The identification of this study was done intentionally on the basis of consideration that it was one of the central areas of vegetable production. The population in this study included all the vegetable farmers in the village of lewokeleng of 50 families. Everything’s set to sample. To know the first purpose of the data being analysed quantitatively and to know the purpose to both data was elaborately analysed using the likert scale. The results of the data analysis show that :1) the role of guiding agriculture is consistent with the empowerment of farmers in the village of lewokeleng. The role of farmers in agricultural development has 5 elements, which are related to the vegetable horticultural farm, whichis as communitators, innovators, educaters, facilitators and motivators. 2) the development of farmers in the rural community of lewokeleng has been uncertain about how the average score of 34.24 % rests on the 25-34 range. This shows that the instructors at the research site have performed their roles properly as communicators, educators, innovators, facilitators and multivators in the increased horticulture of vegetables but have not yet been done optimally.
