Abstract

Abstrak: Faktor Determinan atas Profitabilitas Perbankan yang Listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh risiko kredit, risiko likuiditas, efisiensi manajemen, permodalan, inflasi, dan produk domestik bruto terhadap profitabilitas bank pada tahun 2010-2012. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk mendapatkan 28 sampel bank. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa risiko kredit, permodalan, dan inflasi berpengaruh signifikan dan berkorelasi positif terhadap profitabilitas bank. Efisiensi manajemen berpengaruh signifikan dan berkorelasi negatif terhadap profitabilitas bank. Risiko likuiditas dan produk domestik bruto tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas bank.Abstract: Determinant Factors of Bank Profitability Listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of credit risk, liquidity risk, efficiency management, capital, inflation, and gross domestic product on banks profitability in 2010-2012. By using purposive sampling technique, 28 banks were obtained as sample of the study. The method of data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed that the credit risk, capital, inflation have significant and positive influence on bank profitability. Efficiency management has significant and negative influence on bank profitability. Liquidity risk and gross domestic product have no effect on bank profitability.

Abstract

The issue of environmental damage caused by industry continues to increase every year accompanied by real conditions that occur, either damage on humans, animals, plants, and the environment. Nowadays people are increasingly aware of the importance of preserving the environment more selectively in the selection of products used. This study was conducted to determine the effect of green perceived value and green brand image on green purchase intention on consumers of Malang Bodyshop. The number of samples study were 141 respondents of The Bodyshop customers in Malang. This study uses a purposive sampling technique with the following criteria: (1) At least 18 years old (2) Domiciled in the city of Malang and once made a purchase at the outlets of The Bodyshop Malang (3) Have used The Bodyshop products at least more than once. Data analysis techniques are performed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of the study shows that it turns outs that trust in green products plays a very important role in the desire of consumers to buy. The result obtained by green trust fully mediate green perceived value and green brand image of the green purchase intention. There is a positive relationship between the green perceived value on green trust and green brand image of green trust. It was also found in this study that there was a negative relationship between the green perceived value on green purchase intention and the negative relationship between the green brand image of the green purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of core service quality and Peripheral service quality on patient satisfaction and loyalty at the RSUD Dr. Soegiri Lamongan which is moderated by switching costs. The number of samples in this study were 36 patients at Dr. Soegiri Lamongan. The technique of collecting data uses questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. Data analysis in this study was SEM using PLS software. The results of this study indicate that core service quality and peripheral service quality have a significant effect on patient satisfaction, core service quality has no direct significant effect on patient loyalty, peripheral service quality has a significant effect on patient loyalty, patient satisfaction has a significant effect on patient loyalty. Patient satisfaction acts as a perfect mediation of the influence of core service quality on patient loyalty and patient satisfaction plays a role as not a mediation of the influence of peripheral service quality on patient loyalty. Switching cost strengthens the relationship between patient satisfaction and patient loyalty but is not significant.

Abstract

Era disruptif saat ini telah menimbulkan berbagai peluang, sekaligus tantangan Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidenfikasi sikap-sikap dan perilaku inovatif pengrajin di kawasan pasar wisata Tanggulangin-Sidoarjo. Penelitian didisain menggunakan paradigma interpretif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi, dengan melibatkan lima orang informan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data model Creswell. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap kreatif, orientasi jangka panjang, trend setter, pelopor pasar, kesuksesan, keikhlasan berbagi ilmu, dan senang tantangan merupakan determinan perilaku inovatif. Sedangkan perilaku inovatif tercermin dalam kemampuan pengrajin memodifikasi dan memperbaiki disain, merubah teknik jahit, inovasi bahan, inovasi teknologi proses produksi, dan menciptakan keunggulan yang sulit ditiru. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa keberhasilan inovasi bisa dicapai dengan menciptakan keseimbangan antara aspek wira dan aspek usaha dalam diri pengrajin.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Purpose — This research was conducted to study the effect of information sharing and information quality toward supply chain integration and farmer business performance.Design/methodology/approach — The type of this research is quantitative explanatory research. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by questionnaire. The sampling method uses multistage proportional random sampling, sample obtained amount 200 farmers. Data analysis in this study uses path analysis method with SPSS 23.Findings — The results of this research indicate that the quality of information is not significant to the integration of supply chain and farmer business performance. Information sharing has a positive and significant effect toward supply chain integration and farmer business performance, supply chain integration has a positive and significant effect toward farmer business performance.Practical Implications — Increasing global business competition and efforts to shorten product life cycles are the two main factors that encourage businesses to change their focus from competitive competition to mutually beneficial relationships and cooperation to improve business performance.Originality/value — The main objective of supply chain activities for business activities is a crucial element because with these activities the goods produced can reach the end consumers.Keywords — Information Sharing, Information Quality, Supply Chain Integration, Enterprise Performance.

Abstract

The research aimed to test the new measures of employee empowerment in a collectively social oriented society. The study applied questionnaire-based survey to obtain data and test the relationship between employee empowerment and organisational performance. A total of 80 completed questionnaires from the senior HR personnel from 40 organisations in the Gambia took part in the survey. Ten employees were engaged in a face-to-face interview, 2 private and 8 public organisations from among the 40 organisations that participated. Both SPSS and SmartPLS were utilised to analyse data. MGA is used to determine the difference private and public organisations. The study has indicated a significant relationship between employee empowerment and organisational performance. The findings revealed a small but not significant difference between the private and public organisations in their definition of employee empowerment in the Gambia based on MGA report. The findings discovered that the social nature of employees cannot be disputed, and a strong recognition of employees promotes organisation performance. HR department and organisational flexibility relates more to employee’s empowerment and has effect on attitude and behaviour. The study recommends further large-scale research in other environments outside the Gambia.

Abstract

This research was designed to describe the causal relationships between environmental complexity, governmentregulation, diversification levels, and performance. This research was conducted toward banking industryin East Java, in which the research samples were the top ten (10) well performed national commercial banks.The analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research shows that: (1) thehigher environmental complexity level, the diversification made by the bank toward its major function wasgetting further or business activities of the bank was tend to be fee-based income activities and in fact increasebanks performance; (2) banking industry were encouraged to focus on its major function as intermediarycorporation due to intense support of government and reserve bank of Indonesia. However, the banking performancewas getting lower if the support of government and reserve bank of Indonesia on the main function of thebank (credit distribution) was getting higher. This investigation suggest that control system was needed inorder to increase the main function of the bank without increasing its risks.
