Abstract

AbstrakKehadiran perguruan tinggi sangat diperlukan dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas. Agar lulusan perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas didukung oleh semangat belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh variabel kompetensi, profesionalisme, dan kinerja dosen terhadap semangat belajar mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif dan data primer diperoleh langsung dari responden penelitian yaitu 100 mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat belajar siswa, dimana nilai t hitung > t tabel (3,378 > 1,984) dengan nilai signifikan 0,001 < 0,05. Profesionalisme berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat belajar siswa dimana nilai t hitung > t tabel (8,681 > 1,984) dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 alpha. Kinerja dosen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat belajar mahasiswa, dimana t hitung > t tabel (4,469 > 1,984) dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 alpha. Kompetensi, profesionalisme, dan kinerja dosen secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat belajar mahasiswa, dimana F hitung > F tabel (182,227 > 2,693) dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) atau disebut juga Public Enterprise masih bisa ditingkatkan performancenya dengan antara lain melakukan reformasi BUMD, transformasi mindset pimpinan dan karyawannya memiliki akhlak yang baik pengelolaannya dengan semangat corporatization, dan membangun aliansi strategis dengan suatu bentuk joint cooperation/joint operational. Melakukan reformasi BUMD pada intinya bertujuan ingin membuat BUMD suatu value added dengan pertimbangan globalisasi ekonomi dunia bukan lagi dalam tahap wacana tetapi sudah memasuki tahap impelementasi. BUMD harus mampu menjadi business entity yang mampu memberikan satisfaction kepada para customer dan memberikan significant contribution kepada shareholders/owners. Dari segi komersial tetap berpegang pada kriteria-kriteria sound business practices. Dalam aliansi strategis BUMD-BUMD harus dapat mencari patner yang tepat sehingga kerjasama dapat terlaksana dengan baik dengan pola performance yang saling menguntungkan (win-win situation

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) development through education and training is not effective in shaping the character of the technology-based State Civil Apparatus. Technology-based human resource development, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) built a Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG). This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of SIMPEG at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of North Sumatra and how to realize e-government at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of North Sumatra, precisely at the Class II Immigration Office of TPI Belawan. The research approach used is a qualitative approach, which focuses on problems that exist at the time of the research or actual problems, and describes the facts about the problem being investigated along with their interpretation. Based on the research, it is found that SIMPEG of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in its implementation has not been effective in improving employee professionalism, has not been used in the context of assigning employees according to their competence, and has not been used in the context of making employee transfer decisions and making decisions for promotion. The use of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Simpeg is one form of e-government implementation at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, especially the Class II TPI Belawan Imgrasi Office, where all employment processes are carried out electronically through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Human Rights Management Information System application.

Abstract

Individual readiness to change is important in the success of the organization for making changes. When employees are ready, they will be able to follow the organizational changes that occur. Employee readiness to change will have a positive impact on organizational change. There are various factors that can affect change readiness in employees including employee engagement and work value. This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement and work value on change readiness in employees of PT. Budi Perkasa Alam. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of change readiness, employee engagement and work value scale. This study involved 150 employees. The results showed that partially employee engagement and work value had a positive effect on change readiness in employees with t-count value X1 (5.513) t-table (1,976) and t-count X2 (5,896) t-table (1,976). Simultaneously, employee engagement and work value variables significantly influence change readiness in PT employees. Nature Mightiness (F count = 67.230; p 0.05). Employee engagement and work value contributed to change readiness by 47.8% (R-square = 0.478). The implications of this research are expected to the management in order to maintain an understanding of the values and goals of the organization and involve employees in making organizational decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of self-efficacy and work motivation on the performance of kindergarten school teachers in Medan Area District. The population in this study were 99 people who were teachers from 42 kindergartens in Medan Area District. The hypothesis proposed in this study, namely: 1). There is an effect of self-efficacy on the performance of kindergarten teachers in Medan Area District. 2). There is an influence of work motivation on the performance of kindergarten teachers in Medan Area District. 3). There is an influence of self-efficacy and work motivation on the performance of kindergarten teachers in Medan Area District. To prove that hypothesis is used the Anareg formula, which based on the results of the analysis obtained results: 1). there is a very significant effect between self-efficacy and work motivation on performance. This result is indicated by the Freg coefficient = 35,351; sig 0.010. 2). there is a very significant effect between self-efficacy and performance. This result can be seen from the correlation coefficient rx1y = 0.637; sig 0,000. 3). there is a very significant effect between work motivation and performance, where rx2y correlation coefficient = 0.446; sig 0,000. From these three results, it can be stated that the proposed hypothesis is declared accepted

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between service quality and location variables with customer loyalty at Raihan Bakery Cake Shop Medan. The population in this study was as much 2100 taken from customers who are truly loyal to Raihan Bakery Cake Shop Field. This research uses a quantitative approach and sampling in this study with purposive sampling technique amounted to 100 people. The instrument used was a valid and reliable questionnaire for service quality, location and customer loyalty. The research was analyzed using the Multiple Analysis test. The results showed that: (1) There is a positive relationship Rx1-y = 0.0446 of service quality with customer loyalty at Raihan Bakery Cake Shop Medan. This is indicated by tcount = 4,938 ttable = 1,985 and a significance value of 0,000 0.05. (2) There is a positive relationship Rx2-y = 0.172 from the location with customer loyalty at Raihan Bakery Cake Shop Medan. This is indicated by tcount = 1,731 ttable = 1.985 and a significance value of 0.043 0.05. (3) There is a positive relationship Rx1.x2-y = 0.0448 of service quality and location with customer loyalty at Raihan Bakery Cake Shop Medan. And from the output obtained a determinant coefficient (R2) of 0.200 with a significance value of 0.000 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence teacher competence, motivation, and work environment have on teacher performance at SMP Kartika 1-2 Medan. The results showed that simultaneously teacher competence, motivation and work environment had a significant effect on teacher performance at SMP Kartika 1-2 Medan. Partially teacher competence, motivation and work environment have a significant effect on teacher performance at SMP Kartika 1-2 Medan and partially teacher competence, work motivation and work environment have a significant effect on teacher performance at SMP Kartika 1-2 Medan.

Abstract

Penanaman modal asing memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian. Keberhasilan suatu pembangunan nasional tidak dapat dipisahkan dari penanaman modal asing sebagai faktor penunjang dan turut menentukan pembangunan ekonomi, antara lain dapat menciptakan pekerjaan, terjadinya alih teknologi, memberikan masukan dari segi perpajakan dan pendapatan negara dan daerah. Menciptakan kepastian hukum terhadap investor asing perusahaan joint venture sebagai bentuk perlindungan hukum. Pemerintah  Kabupaten Deli Serdang dalam pembangunan sektor air bersih juga memberlakukan Undang-Undang No.25 Tahun 2007 tentang Penanaman Modal walaupun belum sepenuhnya diterapkan. Hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi antara lain berupa perjanjian kerjasama dengan PDAM Tirtanadi tidak sepenuhnya dilaksanakan, penyerahan air bersih merupakan objek PPN padahal menurut ketentuan merupakan objek yang bebas dari PPN, dan UU No.13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan telah disalahgunakan oleh oknum serikat pekerja perusahaan. Penyelesaian sengketa berpedoman kepada  perjanjian kerjasama  antara PT. Tirta Lyonnaise Medan dengan PDAM Tirtanadi Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja, gayakepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja pegawaipada Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi Wilayah I Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitianyang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah68 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studidokumen, kuesioner / angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakanStructural Equational Modeling (SEM) menggunakan Smart–PLS. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa: (1) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadapkinerja pegawai (2) gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadapkinerja pegawai (3) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadapkepuasan kerja, (4) gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadapkepuasan kerja, (5) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerjapegawai, (6) lingkungan kerja yang dimediasi kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dansignifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan (7) gaya kepemimpinan yang dimediasi kepuasankerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.
