Abstract

The research was conducted in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang. Human resources is a key principal in the company to stay afloat in an era of global competition. In addition, human resources is one key to the success of a company. Training is one way to improve the knowledge and skills of human resources. With the training, motivation of employees is expected to increase and therefore contributes to the performance of the employees and indirectly the performance of the company will also increase.The design of the research is explanatory research (explanation). In this study describes the relationship between the study variables and test hypotheses that have been formulated. The sample used by 55 respondents. Methods of data collection in this study was measured using a questionnaire using a Likert scale with a five-point scale. While the analysis of the data using descriptive analysis techniques and path analysis to determine the effect of training on performance through employee motivation PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang are processed using SPSS 15.0 for windows. The results of this study are as follows:  (1) Work Motivation (Z) directly and significantly affect employee performance (Y) in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang, (2) Training (X) directly and significantly affect the  performance Employees (Z) in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang, (3) Employment Training (X) directly and significantly affect the Employee Motivation (Z) in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang (4) Training and indirectly influence significantly to the Employee  Performance (Y) through the Work Motivation (Z) in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang.This suggests that PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang has been implemented with both job training as a way to motivate employees so as to improve performance.Keywords: Job Training, Work Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui audit SDM berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas fungsi SDM, studi kasus pada auditor Politeknik Negeri Malang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  explanatory  . Penelitian ini menggunakan  non probability sampling  dengan menggunakan metode sampling jenuh.Dan ditemukan sample yg valid sebanyak 37 orang senior auditor Politeknik Negeri Malang . Uji instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas.  Analisis data dan interpretasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan  analisis regresi berganda. Dari hasil hipotesis diketahui bahwa variabel audit SDM  yaitu Perencanaan Audit SDM, Pelaksanaan Audit  SDM, Pengelolaan dan Tindak Lanjut Audit SDM berpengaruh terhadap Efektivitas Fungsi SDM. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Efektivitas Fungsi SDM akan semakin meningkat jika Politeknik Negeri Malang meningkatkan variabel-variabel yaitu Perencanaan Audit SDM, Pelaksanaan Audit  SDM, Pengelolaan dan Tindak Lanjut Audit SDM.Kata kunci : Audit SDM, Efektivitas Fungsi SDM

Abstract

Online Shopping is trending since past few years, providing niche for small retailer. This research is analyzing about  factors influence consumer decision towards online shopping, greatest factor influence consumer decision to shop online and what is consumer primary way of shop, online or visiting brick and mortar. Online shop in this study is specifed to those operated by small retailer that usually using social media as platform  such as KasKus, Facebook, Multiply, and BlackBerry Messenger. There are five factors that influence consumer decision to shop online that used as independent variable in this study, those is convinience, amount of information, price, limitation, and security, and consumer decision as dependent variable. In order to finding influence of independent variables towards dependent variable, research method used in this study is multiple reggression analysis with three clasical assumption test: normalty, multicollinearity, and heteroscedaticity. Method used in gathering data is questionnaire with undergraduate student in Faculty of Economic and Business Brawijaya University who has experienced shopping online before as population and 100 person who fulfill the criteria is choosed as sample (non random sampling). The result of this study is that each element used as independent variable significantly affecting consumer decision (dependent variable) and security is the factor with greatest influence. Conclusion in this study is that consumer decision towards online shopping is affected significantly by convinience, amount of information, price, limitation, and security. Greatest factor that influence consumer decision to shop online is security, second is price, third is convinience, followed by limitations, and lastly consumer also considering amount of information, and visiting brick and mortar store still become consumer primary way of shopping compared by shopping online eventhough all respodent has experienced online shopping before. Abstract

The research was conducted in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang. Currently Human Resources is not only seen as complementary in the network chain to the achievement of corporate goals alone, HR also needs to be empowered to be able to be a resource of qualified and trained to achieve the expected performance of the Company. The study design used is explanatory research, and use this type of quantitative research using multiple regression statistical tools and validity test. The results showed that work motivation (X1), performance appraisals (X2), simultaneously or jointly significant effect on the variable Job satisfaction (Y) employees of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang. This means that PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Malang has been implemented with good work motivation and performance appraisal so that the level of job satisfaction is high. Research aim to analyze influence of 1) Competencies on Organtizational Commitment. 2) Training on Organtizational Commitment. 3) Organization Culture on Organtizational Commitmen. 4) Competencies on Nurses’ Performance. 5) Training on Nurses’ Performance. 6) Organization Culture on Nurses’ Performance. 7) Organizational Commitment on Nurses’ Performance. 8) Role mediation of Organizational Commitmen within the influence of Competencies on Nurses’ Performance. 9) Role mediation of Organizational Commitmen within the influence of Training on Nurses’ Performance. 10) Role mediation of Organizational Commitmen within the influence of Organizational Culture on Nurses Performance. Sample has taken by survey methode by used saturated sampling which mean make all population member as a sample. Research sample were 143 nurses who work at Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Probolinggo Hospital with more than 1 year working time. The analyse tool is Partial Least Square (PLS). The research result competencies, training and organization culture influence organizational commitment directly but didnt have influence on nurses performance. Organizational commitmen have the role mediation fully (complete) by competencies, training with culture to nurses’performance in Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital.

Abstract

Organization commitment is very important for individuals working in any organization.Therefore, considering individuals and the perception toward the careers is really important.This study determines the direction of influence of basic individual careers and career developmentprograms on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This research conducteda survey on Private Higher Education teaching staff of Kopertis (private higher educationcoordinator) Borneo in Banjarmasin. The data from 60 respondents were analyzedusing the Partial Least Square (PLS) to examine the relationship among variables basic individualcareers and career development programs that have a significant and positive impacton job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The results showed that the basic individualcareers and career development programs affect organizational commitment and jobsatisfaction. In addition, it is also proved that job satisfaction mediate the increasing organizationalcommitment.

Abstract

Kelebihan daripada penelitian ini adalah sifat kepemimpinan dan kedisiplinan yang tinggi ada pada siswa-siswi (generasi muda) bilamana mereka masuk di dalam organisasi paskibra yaitu satuan pasukan  satya providers ose red  dapat disingkat menjadi satuan pasukan SATDIVERS dengan konsep  one voice  yaitu satu suara. Serta pelatihan dan pengembangan yang ada di SATDIVERS menyesuaikan dengan sumberdaya manusia yang ada di organisasi tersebut dan adanya kerjasama dengan purna SATDIVERS sebagai motivator dan pelatih.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelatihan dan pengembangan, mengetahui kepemimpinan, dan organisasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian yang digunakan berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Dari hasil  wawancara dapat diketahui bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan mempunyai pengaruh yang penting di dalam sebuah organisasi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan setiap tahunnya mengalami perubahan yang disesuaikan dengan sumberdaya manusia. Untuk kepemimpinan mempunyai andil dalam proses pelatihan dan pengembangan dikarenakan kepemimpinan memiliki tujuan yang dicapai secara bersama dan membentuk karakter siswa-siswi yang bertanggung jawab. Serta organisasi pembelajaran mempunyai pemikiran dan kebudayaan yang berbeda untuk disatukan menjadi satu agar tercipta satu tujuan dalam kelompok kecil ataupun kelompok besar. Hal ini menunjukkan dalam struktur organisasi setiap elemen memiliki peran dan fungsi yang berbeda akan tetapi bisa disatukan demi terwujudnya tujuan, visi dan misi bersama.Dalam interpretasi bahwasanya pelatihan dan pengembangan,kepemimpinan dan organisasi pembelajaran dapat dijabarkan lebih dalam dan dapat dimaknai serta dapat disimpulkan dari hasil wawancara.Kata Kunci  : Pelatihan dan Pengembangan, Kepemimpinan, Organisasi Pembelajaran, Sumberdaya Manusia, Kebudayaan, Visi dan Misi.

Abstract

The biggest challenge for organizations which are engange in the global service systems, which provides freedom of speech, is how to meet the desired standards of service by the customers. Similarly for the government agencies that provide services to the public. To be recognized as an organization that conform the requirement for quality, organization implemented Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2008. QMS ISO 9001:2008 believed to be able to give positive encouragement to employees to improve performance continuously. This research aimed to determine the effect of the application of QMS ISO 9001:2008 on Sekretariat Pemerintah Kota Malang’s employee performance. The research method is explanatory research with the aim of explaining the relationship between variables through hypothesis test. The results showed that partially Human Resources (X1), Work Infrastructure (X2), and Work Environment (X3) in QMS ISO 9001:2008 has positive and significant impact on Sekretariat Pemerintah Kota Malang’s employee performance. Simultaneously, these variables are has positive and significant impact on Sekretariat Pemerintah Kota Malang’s employee performance as well. Work Environment Variables (X3) is the most dominant variable which influences on employee performance (Y). Based on this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of QMS ISO 9001:2008 has positive effects in effort to improve employee performance. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between competitive strategy andorganisational performance and to determine the applicability of Porter’s generic strategies in explainingits different effects to the organisational performance. There are three independent variables analyzed inthis study: differentiation strategy, cost leadership and integrated strategy, while the dependent variable isthe performance of the organization which is a subjective measure of objective’s fulfillment and relativecompetitive performance. The data has been collected then analyzed using linear multiple regressionanalysis. The results of this study indicates that the application of a generic strategy has an importantinfluence on the bank’s performance, while the selection of differentiation strategy has a better impact onthe bank’s performance in comparison with the cost leadership and integrated strategies.Keywords: generic strategy, differentiation, organizational performance, banking, linear multiple regression

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the relationship among organizational climate, organizational commitment and employees’ performance in hospital. The study design was descriptive analytical survey using cross-sectional study. The respondents were 81 employees at Lawang Medika Hospital who represented both medical staffs and medical-support staffs. Organizational climate was measured by using amodified Organizational Climate Questionnaire (OCQ). Organizational commitment was measured by using a modified Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ). Performance was measured using by Hariono’s questionnaire. All questionnaires used five scale of Likert. Data was analyzed using path analysis to find the relationship between organizational climate, organizational commitment and employeeperformance, which is organized by using Office Excel 2010 and SPSS for Windows 19.0 software. The results showed that organizational climate influenced both organizational commitment and employees’ performance positively. Organizational commitment itself also influenced employees’ performance positively. Organizational climate influenced employees’ performance indirectly through organizational commitment.
