Abstract

Nutrition is a very important part of growth and development. Community problems are considered serious if the prevalence of underweight is between 10.0-14.0%, and is considered critical if it is greater than 15.0% (WHO, 2010). In 2013, nationally the prevalence of underweight in children under five was still 12.1%. For Jambi Province itself, cases of malnutrition tended to increase over the last two years, in 2017 there were 85 cases of malnutrition and four cases died, while in 2018 it rose to 92 cases with six of them died. This study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional design that aims to determine the relationship between diet and mother's knowledge with the nutritional status of children under five in Talang Babat Village, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency in 2019. This research was conducted in July 2019. The population in this study was 220 toddlers. The number of samples was calculated based on Ariawan's formula as many as 67 people. The sampling technique was carried out by means of quota sampling. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a significant limit of = 5%. The results of the study Most of the respondents had normal nutritional status as many as 50 respondents (74.6%), had a good diet for toddlers as many as 37 respondents (55.2%) and had less knowledge about the nutritional status of toddlers as many as 43 respondents (64.2%). Based on the chi-square statistical test with p-values ​​of 0.028 and 0.001 which means there is a significant relationship between diet and knowledge with the nutritional status of children under five in Talang Babat Village, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between diet and knowledge with the nutritional status of toddlers in Talang Babat Village, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency.

Abstract

In several decades, based on the results of the census, Indonesia has experienced significant population growth. In the last ten years, the population has increased by 32.56 million. The KB I program was initiated to reduce the birth rate by using several methods, one of which is the hormonal contraceptive implant method. However, data from the Jambi health office shows that there are still quite a few family planning acceptors who use implant contraceptives, even though it is known that this type of contraception is very effective, with a long duration of use, and an affordable price. This study aims to analyze what factors are related to the choice of implant type contraceptives for family planning acceptors in the work area of ​​Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City. This type of research is analytic Observational with a cross sectional design. The population of this study was 3,029 people. Samples were taken by quota sampling as many as 96 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out bivariately using the chi square test with a significance level of 0.05. The data collected is based on research variables, namely knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, and motivations of family planning acceptors. The results of Chi Square analysis showed that knowledge with p-value 0.002, attitude p-value 0.224, perception p-value 0.173, and motivation with p-value 0.005. Abstract

Complementary food for breast milk is food or drink containing nutrition given to infants or children aged 6-24 months to meet their nutritional needs. Giving complementary foods to breast milk too early in infants can cause indigestion, diarrhea, food allergies, disturbances in appetite regulation and changes in appetite. This research was conducted in June 2019 in the Sungai Manau Health Center Work Area, Merangin Regency. This study is a descriptive study with a cross sectional design, with a sample of 96 mothers who have babies aged 0-6 months. The data analysis used was the chi square test with a significant level of = 0.05. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that there is a relationship between family support and the provision of complementary foods (p<0.01), there is a relationship between mother's knowledge and the provision of complementary foods (p<0.00), there is a relationship between family habits and the provision of complementary foods (p<0.00). <0.00). Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that it can provide input in the Sungai Manau Health Center Work Area in order to increase socialization to the community regarding the provision of complementary feeding.

Abstract

The recitation of the Qur'an contains the element of the human voice, which is a wonderful healing tool and the most accessible tool. Ar-Rahman means the Most Gracious. All verses in Surah Ar-Rahman have short verse characters so that they are comfortable to listen to and can provide a relaxing effect for the listener. This study was a pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest to determine the effect of listening to Surah Ar-Rahman's on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Putri Ayu Health Center Jambi City. This research was conducted from January to July 2019 at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City. The population in this study was the target of postpartum mothers at the Putri Ayu Health Center in 2019 which amounted to 859 people. The sample in this study was taken by the purposive sampling technique. The research data used a questionnaire to determine the amount of breast milk production in postpartum mothers. The data collected were analyzed by univariate and bivariate. The results showed that the production of breast milk in postpartum mothers before being given Surah Ar-Rahman was in the fairly smooth category, namely as many as 24 respondents (57.1%) and before being given Ar-Rahman's letter in the current category, namely 37 respondents (88.1%). The results of the analysis show that there is an effect of listening to Surah Ar-Rahman on the production of breast milk in postpartum mothers at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City in 2019 with a p-value = 0.000. It is recommended that the results of this study can be used as input for health workers, especially midwives, so that they can provide innovations and interventions in increasing breast milk production for mothers, one of which is by using Surah Ar-Rahman.
