Abstract

Background: The ages that are considered to be at risk at birth are under 20 years and over 35 years. Whereas between 20-35 years of age is a healthy reproductive age with minimal risk of childbirth, mothers who have a history of preeclampsia pregnancy will be at 8.81 times greater risk of getting pregnant again with preeclampsia compared to mothers who do not have a history of preeclampsia Method: This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design that aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of severe preeclampsia in pregnant women in the Raden Mattaher General Hospital of the Province of 2018. The population in this study were all pregnant women who visited the Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital in Jambi Province in the year 2018 as many as 289 people. The sample technique with total sampling is 122 pregnant women who have severe preeclampsia. This research was conducted in Raden Mattaher General Hospital Jambi from 17 June to 4 July 2019. Data in this study used secondary data in the form of medical record data in Raden Mattaher General Hospital in 2018. The analysis used in this study was univariate and bivariate and analyzed by chi-square. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between the age of pregnant women and preeclampsia with p-value 0.000, there was a correlation between the characteristics of maternal parity with preeclampsia with p-value 0.000 there was a relationship between gravida mothers with preeclampsia cases with p-value 0.004. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the age of pregnant women, maternal parity characteristics and gravida with preeclampsia.

Abstract

Background: During the postpartum period, there will be some changes in the body and emotions of the mothers. Various disorders, infections, and myths about taboos about eating certain foods can endanger the life of the mother. This study aimed to determine the effect of postpartum mother class formation on knowledge during the postpartum period in the working area of Paal Merah I Health Center in Jambi City. Methods: This was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest approach. The population in this study was the estimation of postpartum mothers who were supervised under the Paal Merah I Public Health Center, Jambi City in 2020. 20 respondents were selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: Some respondents had sufficient and good knowledge before the formation of the postpartum mother class. There was a significant difference between the knowledge of postpartum mothers about the postpartum period before and after being given the formation of a postpartum mother class, indicated by a p-value of 0.008 Conclusion: The formation of the postpartum mother's class was giving influenced by increasing the mother's knowledge about the postpartum period

Abstract

AbstractPregnant mothers class to learn about health for pregnant women in the form of face-to-face in groups who want to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of mothers and families regarding assessment, care, childbirth, childbirth care, illness, or situations during pregnancy-childbirth and childbirth, care newborn babies use the Mother and Child Health book (MCH) as the main ingredient. High-risk pregnant women in Puskesmas putri ayu experienced an increase in 2018 (January-December) increased by 146 high-risk pregnant women and in 2019 (January august) there were 152 high-risk pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of education on information and communication on the ability of pregnant women to face the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and childbirth in pregnant mothers working area of the Putri Ayu Public Health Center in 2019. The method of this study used a quasi-study with one group pretest-postet design. The sampling technique in this study was a total sampling of 50 respondents. analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Research results obtained by pregnant women p value of .000, childbirth with a p value of .000 and puerperium p value of .0009 means related to education education about health and safety for pregnant women who associate the problem of childbirth danger in the class of pregnant women at the working area of Putri Ayu Health Center Jambi in 2019. It is expected that midwives' special health centers will improve their communication skills, through health counseling, this can be used as a health workforce program in providing health education.
