Abstract

The problem of this study was the lack of teachers knowledge especially in using learning educational games. This study aimed to describe teachers knowledge of educative tools in learning. The study population was all early childhood teachers qualified as bachelor degrees with a total of 87 teachers. The research sample was 47 teachers by using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected by using tests and analyzed by using descriptive quantitative. The results showed that 60% teachers has lack understanding in using educational tools, while there were 13% teachers who do not even know about the using of educational tools. From all the indicators it can be showed that teachers has a lack of understanding in benefits (64%), requirements (55%) and management of tools educative learning (75%). It can be concluded that teachers still has a lack understanding in managing educative tools in learning.Masalah penelitian ini adalah kurangnya guru memanfaatkan alat permainan edukatif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan guru PAUD tentang alat permainan edukatif dalam pembelajaran. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh guru TK berkualifikasi S1 dengan jumlah guru sebanyak 87, sampel penelitian berjumlah 47 guru dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif, adapun hasil penelitian yakni sebagian besar guru berpengetahuan rendah, berada pada tingkatan kurang paham sebanyak 60%, bahkan terdapat guru yang tidak paham tentang alat permainan edukatif sebanyak 13%. Dari semua indikator dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru masih memiliki pemahaman yang rendah terutama mengenai manfaat (64%), persyaratan pembuatan (55%), serta pengelolaan alat permainan edukatif (75%). Nilai terendah berada pada indikator pengetahuan guru PAUD tentang pengelolaan alat permainan edukatif.  Kata kunci : alat permainan edukatif, paud, pengetahuan guru.
