Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of youth in the preservation of wayang suket in the Gubuk Baca Lentera Negeri (GBLN) and see the actualization of the Pancasila moral values in the traditional Suket puppet play. This study was conducted on a group of young people who are members of the Gubuk Baca Lentera Negeri in Sukolilo Village, Jabung District, Malang Regency. This study uses a qualitative method, the subject of the study is the Gubuk Baca Lentera Negeri and the object of study is the role of youth in the preservation of wayang suket as the actualization of the Pancasila moral values. Data collection methods in this study use interviews, observations, field notes, literature, internet, and documentation. The results of this study have illustrated that the Gubuk Baca Lentera Negeri has preserved wayang suket and in the process of making and story of wayang suket, there is a moral value of Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the forms, causes, and efforts to minimize the occurrence of deviant behavior patterns in college students. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The main subjects in this study were students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang, who were supported by the involvement of lecturers and teaching staff as supporting informants. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used as procedures for data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that there were three forms of student deviant behavior in academic performance, namely the fabrication of research proposals in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Seminar, falsification of assignments for the Personality Psychology course, and plagiarism of Public Policy course assignments. The causes of this deviant behavior were laziness, lack of time management, and lack of learning discipline. The two-way communication process through deliberation and delivery of commitments to improve behavior was chosen as an effort to minimize the occurrence of deviant behavior in academic performance in universities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of community tolerance values, harmonization patterns in religious plurality, as well as local actors who play a role in implementing tolerance in Pancasila Village. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted in Pancasila Village which is located in Situbondo, Blitar, Jember and Lamongan Regencies. The results of the study showed that the application of the tolerance value of the Pancasila Village community was seen from several activities, namely the culture of mutual cooperation in celebration events, construction of places of worship, and commemoration of religious holidays. The pattern of harmonization in religious plurality in Pancasila Village is visiting with polite ethics both verbally and non-verbally, inculcating tolerance from an early age by parents to children so that it becomes a habit, and not differentiating educational institutions based on religious background. Local actors in implementing tolerance in Pancasila Village are religious leaders, community leaders, village government, and youth leaders who work together to create harmony
