Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop a learning model character education with a multiculturalapproach used in Civic Education. The resulting learning model is poured in the form of modules andvisualized in the form of instructional videos. Framework of a prototype model of learning by takinginto account the competence of the subjects that must be owned by the students, faculty competencein multicultural approach, the cultural background of students, and the characteristics oflearning the nuances of multicultural material. Strategies that can be used, among others: strategiesand learning activities are combined with the concept attainment strategy, the strategy value analysis,and strategies of social analysis. Drafting of the learning can be done through five main stages,namely content analysis, the analysis of cultural background, mapping materials, organizing materials,and then poured in Civic Education learning format. In the implementation of character educationlearning model with a multicultural approach can be done through the following phases: ExplorationStudies, Presentations, Peer Group Analysis, Expert Opinion, and Reflections and Recommendations.Keywords: character education, multicultural, and civic education

Abstract

The remuneration policy is a policy issued by the central government to give awards to civil servants on the professionalism of the work done. Remuneration is based on performance appraisal that is the target of employee and workplace behavior. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the remuneration policy to improve the performance of civil servants at the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang, and to describe and analyze the factors that affect the implementation of the remuneration policy to improve the performance of civil servants at the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang. The results showed that the implementation of the remuneration policy at the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang can improve the performance of civil servants because the remuneration is based on the workload and responsibilities of employees. There are supporting factors and obstacles in the implementation of remuneration policies that affect the policy implementation process.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan edukasi wawasan masyarakat desa Jugo tentang struktur masyarakat Indonesia yang pluralis-multikultural dan cara memanajemen konflik sosial dengan basis praktik nembang macapat. Melalui materi tembang macapat yang mengandung pesan tentang kerukunan, ketidakcemburuan sosial, tidak deskriminatif, dan empati yang dikaitkan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila, kelompok budaya macapatan (secara tidak langsung) anggota kelompok macapatan mampu melakukan manajemen konflik internal organisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah diskusi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan mulai bulan Juli hingga Agustus 2018 dan diikuti oleh anggota kelompok budaya macapatan “Mangesti Raos Tunggal”. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta macapatan mampu mempraktikkan kegiatan macapatan secara tidak langsung sebagai ajang mediasi penyelesaian konflik yang muncul selama ini dalam organisasi mereka. Komponen peran dalam tampilan macapatan sebagaimana diciptakan bersama dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Mulai dari peran pengarah, dhalang tembang, pamaca tembang, pamedhar tembang, pamireng tembang sekaligus sebagai peran dialog tampak berjalan dengan baik

Abstract

Problems dealing with concepts and application about values, moral, attitudes, consideration, and decision makingby college students are interesting subjects. It is especially for educators, scholars, community leaders, and parents. Nowadays, teenagers do not have enough staying power and precise moral consideration in decision making. It includes decision making not only private decision, but also group decision. The goals of this writing are to describe types of sociocultural moralities evolving in college studenls' lives; describe moral problematics or moral dilemma faced by college students; describe pattems of decision making by college students using the sociocultural morality reference; describe types of sociocultural morality evolving in college students lives based on moral development theory by Kohlberg.

Abstract

Abstract: This study developed a leaming-based model of deep dialogue / crticai thinking in the practice of citizenship 1eaming. The research was conducted in East Java SD in three stages by using the design ofresearch and development. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations and interviews and analyzed descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results found (l) carrying capacity sufficient to support schools (2) the anangement is conducive school atmosphere (3) implementation of the elementary civics lesson in East Java is relatively conventional, less can enhance the activity, creativity and a sense of happy students. Based learning model prototype DD / CT with sintax: silence, Concept Attainment, build community, cooperatif learning, and silence has many theoretical advantages.

Abstract

Abstract: Discourse politics in socio-cultural and political analysis often raise debates. The debates come out in terms of the positioning of local culture products when they are communicated with the concepts of statesmanship/nationalism. In this case, it can bring a shift from a local culture concept to the political one. If it happens, the state tendency in controlling local cultures is bigger. It is due to the desire ofthe state/government to get its legitimacy and strengthen its hegemony latently. Theemergence of a local culture group "macapetan" in Trenggalek indicates that there is a practice of hegemony of Orde Baru (social-political order in Indonesia since 1966-1998). Using qualitative reseinch, the hypothesis is proved, beginning fiom the establishment of the mqcqpat clu'b "Pama- Pamf' to the persistence of macapatan cult.)re. Moreover, the materials used in tembang macapqt show the hegemony of Orde Baru.However, the existence of macapatan club in Trenggalek seemsto have positive meanings for the society as the culture agents.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the forms, causes, and efforts to minimize the occurrence of deviant behavior patterns in college students. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The main subjects in this study were students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang, who were supported by the involvement of lecturers and teaching staff as supporting informants. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used as procedures for data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that there were three forms of student deviant behavior in academic performance, namely the fabrication of research proposals in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Seminar, falsification of assignments for the Personality Psychology course, and plagiarism of Public Policy course assignments. The causes of this deviant behavior were laziness, lack of time management, and lack of learning discipline. The two-way communication process through deliberation and delivery of commitments to improve behavior was chosen as an effort to minimize the occurrence of deviant behavior in academic performance in universities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengoptimalkan keberadaan produk kearifan lokal sebagai wahana atau media sarasehan pembudayaan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Jugo Kecamatan Kesamben, Blitar dengan sasaran utama para budayawan dan masyarakat sekitar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan dengan fokus utama praktik budaya nembang macapatan yang di dalamnya terdapat sesi tes kompetensi dan juga praktik nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui dialog bagi peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan peran dalam kegiatan macapatan dilaksanakan dengan baik, mulai dari peran pengarah, dhalang tembang, pamaca tembang, pamedhar tembang, pamireng tembang sekaligus sebagai peran dialog tampak berjalan dengan baik; 2) Peserta mampu mempraktikkan kegiatan macapatan sebagai mediasi penyelesaian konflik yang muncul selama ini dalam organisasi mereka. Secara tidak langsung nilai-nilai Pancasila muncul dalam temuan ini. Dari hasil yang ada, maka kondisi dan kompetensi masyarakat yang demikian ini sangat memungkinkan untuk dilakukan pembinaan sebagai sentra wisata berbasis budaya.
