Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui optimalisasi usahatani tebu di Kampung Blang Mancung Induk Kecamatan Ketol Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penentuan sampel adalah secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa usahatani tebu (Saccharum Officinarum L) di Kecamatan Ketol, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah sudah optimal.  Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai penerimaan sebesar  Rp.555.000.000.  Petunjuk lainya, hasil perolehan  biaya produksi  menunjukan nilai sebesar  Rp.131.719.677  dan pendapatan maksimal usahatani tebu sebesar  Rp.423.280.323 sudah menunjukan pada produksi optimal. usahatani tebu ini  dikatakan sudah optimal dengan kriteria keputusan TR > TC maka usahatani tebu menguntungkan. Dari analisa produksi optimal usahatani tebu berdasarkan hasil prolehan biaya produksi dan penerimaan usahatani tebu di Kecamatan Ketol sudah optimal.

Abstract

Agricultural products in form of raw materials have low economic value. Thus the development of agriculture contibute a few at people's income. Its functions in people's income could be seen on these factors namely, input and output transfer, tchnology, and the added value of the final agricultural products. The gtreater the added value of product the greater it gives the contribution on increasing people's income. This research aimed at indentification of analyze the competitiveness of brown palm sugar in Aceh Tengah. The method used is suvey in which data primer and secunder related to competitiveness of brown plam sugar in Aceh tengah is used properly. Anlysis model that was used Domestic Resource Cost. The result of the research cane farming in Aceh Tengah has its comparative advantage in which its domestic resource cost coefficients around 0,496 to 0,596. After a sensitivity analysis, the value of domestic resource cost coefficients still less than 1, the ecomonic activity has comparative advantage. Sensitivity analysis showed that cane farming in Aceh Tengah has its comparative advantage in which its domestic resource cost coefficients 1. It meant that an ecomonic activity of brown cane sugar were economicly efficient in domestic resource utilization, or it could be said that an economic activity has comparative advantage.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the socialization of the people's palm oil program in the context of improving the people's economy in Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province. The government's focus on the oil palm rejuvenation program is supported by a replanting subsidy policy that uses funds from the Oil Palm Plantation Management Agency (BPDPKS). The purpose of the socialization activity is to provide information about the oil palm rejuvenation program and to arouse community enthusiasm for oil palm cultivation in Nagan Raya Regency in order to improve the welfare of oil palm farmers. The socialization activity explained in detail and clearly how best to carry out oil palm rejuvenation, explained the advantages and disadvantages of oil palm rejuvenation techniques, as well as provided information about the requirements and stages of oil palm rejuvenation activities, and helped increase access to groups receiving funds from the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS).

Abstract

Economic development the agriculture sector, especially superior food crops have a unique strategy in maintaining food crop production. Prime food crop in this area focused on agriculture development in supporting community livelihood. This research was conducted in the West Aceh district using a survey method, and this studies was prioritized on a food crop commodity basis involving farmers, agricultural extension workers and agents. The research was conducted in West Aceh district with survey methods. Studies related to oil as a commodity base involving farmers, extension agents and agency staff. Model analysis of the hierarchy, LQ, investment criteria, specialization and diversification. Study found that the development of prime commodities in West Aceh district has not been consistent with the potential of production centers in each sub-district. Several factors contributed to this inconsistency, among others.  Elected as a prime commodity in West Aceh regency are paddy, zeamays, peanuts, cassava, soybean and sweet potato has been a prime of the community as a source of livelihood of the prime commodities sector. The best a strategy of commodity development in West Aceh is diversification strategy on the basis of the potential combinations, the type of commodity and infrastructure to support agribusiness. Each district as well as developed some commodity to anticipate the price fluctuations of commodity. Key Word:  agriculture subsector, prime commodities, commodity agibusiness
