Abstract

Secara umum, tujuan jangka panjang program pengabdian ini adalah mengembangkan suatu proses pengabdian yang  inovatif melalui pendampingan bagi guru-guru SD dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kualitas guru SD di Kabupaten Bandung Barat melalui hasil-hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan. Secara khusus, target khusus yang ingin dicapai sebagai berikut: (1). Meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam penyusunan bahan ajar berbasis literasi sains; (2). Meningkatkan minat penyusunan bahan ajar bagi guru. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut sebagai berikut: (a). Perizinan terhadap Dinas setempat terkait pengabdian terhadap guru-guru SD; (b). Memberikan gambaran umum mengenai kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan; (c). Melakukan refleksi dan diskusi mengenai berbagai kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan; (d). Melakukan kolaborasi dengan ahli dalam menyusun bahan ajar berbasis literasi sains, (e). Pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan ; (f). Evaluasi kegiatan pendampingan, (f) Penarikan kesimpulan pelaksanaan pendampingan, dan (g) Publikasi luaran pengabdian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dalam  meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa PGSD. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi Eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa PGSD IKIP Siliwangi semester 1. Sampel pada  penelitian adalah 82 orang  mahasiswa . Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes, angket,  lembar validasi,  dan lembar observasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,023 < 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, peningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa menggunakan media pembelajaran lebih baik daripada pendekatan konvensional. Hasil angket menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa merasa senang dan bersemangat dalam belajar meskipun ada sebagian yang mengalami kesulitan.

Abstract

Water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) is floating aquatic plant that reproduces very fast so it is assumed to damage aquatic environment. Other negative assumptions about the plant are that it can cause the flood. Fortunately, there is now a partner, PKBM (Center of Adult Education Activities) Alkaromah in Cililin, Bandung who has already utilized the plants to be bag craft. However, there are several obstacles faced by the partner. The problems are the lack of practical management of bags manufacture made from water hyacinth; started the process of revocation, drying, selection, splitting and weaving. The impractical management also leads to the results of work that are too time-consuming so it is late in answering market demands. Based on the situation, we as the Executive Team of IbM has assisted the Partner to make pressing machine to facilitate the utilization of water hyacinth to be bag craft. The IbM implementation aims to improve the quality of business management and expedite the process of drying and weaving water hyacinth by saving much time. Consequently, the pressing machine has produced significant impacts; the process of drying and weaving hyacinth no longer takes a long time and the results show the quality improvement. To increase the maximum benefit, the Executive Team and Partner also discuss the market share of products. Other efforts are also discussed to make the patent rights to obtain legal protection from the government. This is the preventive step to avoid others from conducting work recognition.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of treatment, response and constraints of group counseling services with brainstorming techniques on students' interpersonal communication. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMKN 2 Cimahi. namely 3 students. Data analysis techniques used are collection, reduction, presentation and conclusion of data. The results obtained in the study, namely the brainstorming technique in group counseling services are an effort made by BK teachers as assistance to students who have low interpersonal communication, the services carried out are divided into 3 stages, namely the formation stage, the activity stage and the termination stage. Keywords: : Group Counseling, Brainstorming Techniques, Interpersonal Communication

Abstract

in conventional learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe the learning motivation of students at SMP Bhakti Mulya Batujajar during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample of this study involved 100 students at SMP Bhakti Mulya Batujajar. The data collection technique in this study used a learning motivation questionnaire with a total of 25 statement items and made a google form to be easily accessed by students. Data analysis using guttmen scale. The results showed that the majority of students' learning motivation was in the low category, which amounted to 48 students (48%) have low learning motivation such as less active in the learning process and lack of enthusiasm for learning, for the medium category 23 students (23%) and the high category amounted to 29 students (29%) had high motivation.  Keywords: : Online Learning, Learning Motivation, Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

AbstractSelf-confidence is an main component for the adolencents to grow up to be a person who has good quality life. In the process, the adolencents are often faced with situations what made them have crisis of confidence. Therefore, be required appropriate of instrument which has been tested validity and realibility. The subject of this research were 32 students in grade 7th of Pasundan Tanjungsari junior High School. From the result, there are 7 statement declared valid out of 40 statements and has realibility score 0,652. That way the questionnaire is included in the moderate category, which means that the results obtained will tend to be the same and not much different when tested at different times and subjects. AbstrakKepercayaan diri merupakan komponen penting bagi remaja dalam membentuk pribadi yang memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik. Dalam proses perkembangannya, remaja sering dihadapkan pada situasi yang membuatnya mengalami krisis percaya diri. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah alat ukur kepercayaan diri yang tepat dan telah di uji validitas dan relibilitas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan 32 orang siswa kelas VII di SMP Pasundan Tanjungsari. Hasil dari uji validitas terdapat 7 pernyataan yang valid dari 40 penyataan dan memiliki nilai realibilitas sebesar 0,652. Dengan begitu angket termasuk kedalam kategori sedang, yang artinya hasil yang didapat akan cenderung sama dan tidak jauh berbeda apabila di uji cobakan di waktu dan subjek yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of group guidance services with discussion techniques to increase career maturity using google meet media, to find out the responses of teachers and class XII students to group guidance services, discussion techniques using google meet media, to find out the obstacles faced by teachers and students when implementing services. group guidance with discussion techniques using google meet media. The research method used is qualitative method. The sample in this study was 4 students from class XII at SMAN 6 Garut. The data of this study were obtained from the results of observations, documentation, and interviews with BK teachers and students on group guidance services with discussion techniques using google meet media. The results showed that the implementation of group guidance services with discussion techniques using google meet media was carried out well. The responses of teachers and students to group guidance services with discussion techniques using google meet media got good results. Obstacles faced by teachers and students in group guidance services with discussion techniques are the absence of quota subsidies from schools and students are sometimes constrained by an inadequate network, BK teachers are also still adjusting to learning using media. So that the delivery of the material that is conveyed is not optimal and students do not understand what the teacher is saying.Keywords: Career Maturity, Group Guidance Services, Discussion Techniques.

Abstract

Discipline is an attitude of obedience and obedience to the rules or regulations that apply with full responsibility without any coercion from anyone. This study aims to determine the description of student discipline at MTs Negeri 4 Bogor. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the low discipline of students against the rules at school was caused by a lack of awareness of discipline, not being able to control their own will, managing themselves and a lack of attention from parents to motivate and remind them to be orderly, so they do whatever they want.

Abstract

This paper reports the results of a case study which explored the reality of ELT curriculum implementation in the higher education setting in Indonesia in light of the notion of coherence. The study was underpinned by naturalistic inquiry and was intended to know the extent to which the national curriculum policy was implemented in the individual higher education institution through the institutional curriculum policy and in turn was implemented through classroom instructions and experienced by the students. The data were collected by using documentation, interviews, and observations, and analyzed by using the Immersion/Crystallization method. The major finding was that the implementation of the ELT curriculum in the institutional level might not represent the vision of national curriculum policy. The institutional policy announced the application of curriculum on the basis on IQF (Indonesian Qualification Framework), nevertheless, divergent interpretation toward the national policy had led to bias implementation in the level of the department. While most subjects within the overarching (department) curriculum were directed to adopt a strong product-oriented model, the English subjects represented a different reality.   Keywords: higher education, EFL curriculum, coherence, policy, and practice
