<![CDATA[Research conducted in the village of Tulungrejo which is a tourist village that success and ever reaching the top five of the best tourist villages in Indonesia. The research has a focus that is knowing that there is a tourist attraction in the village of Tulungrejo, analyzing the forms of participation of the villagers Tulungrejo and analyze the negative impact and posistif development of tourism for the economy of the community. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. The research results showed that tourist attractions in the village of Tulungrejo is very diverse, among other natural attractions, tourist, sightseeing tours, history, agro and religious tourism. Almost the whole village community Tulungrejo has participated in tours and activities have been prepared within the tourism industry. Tulungrejo village community participation in more than one form of participation. Tulungrejo tourism village development creates economic activity for the community. The creation of new jobs, the presence of additional income for farmers, as well as increasing the value of apples. Based on the results of the study, researchers gave a recommendation that is further socialization of POKDARWIS Village Tulungrejo to urge people who have not been active, one of them by having a custom event that involves the entire community then the event promoted more broadly so that it became a tourist attraction and attracts tourists. Keywords: Public Participation, The Development Of Village Tours, Village Tours Tulungrejo ABSTRAK Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Tulungrejo yang merupakan desa wisata yang sukses dan pernah meraih posisi lima besar desa wisata terbaik di Indonesia. Penelitian memiliki fokus yaitu mengetahui atraksi wisata yang ada di Desa Tulungrejo, menganalisis bentuk-bentuk partisipasi masyarakat Desa Tulungrejo serta menganalisis dampak negatif dan posistif pengembangan wisata bagi perekonomian masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa atraksi wisata di Desa Tulungrejo sangat beragam, antara lain wisata alam, wisata buatan, wisata agro, wisata sejarah, dan wisata religi. Hampir seluruh masyarakat Desa Tulungrejo telah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan wisata dan telah siap dalam industri pariwisata. Partisipasi masyarakat Desa Tulungrejo lebih dari satu bentuk partisipasi. Pengembangan Desa Wisata Tulungrejo menciptakan kegiatan ekonomi yang lebih bagi masyarakat. Terciptanya lapangan pekerjaan baru, adanya tambahan pendapatan bagi petani, serta meningkatnya nilai buah apel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti memberikan rekomendasi yaitu sosialisasi lebih lanjut dari POKDARWIS Desa Tulungrejo untuk mengajak masyarakat yang belum aktif, salah satunya dengan mengadakan acara adat desa yang melibatkan seluruh masyarakat kemudian acara tersebut dipromosikan lebih luas sehingga menjadi suatu atraksi wisata dan menarik minat wisatawan.
