Abstract

This study was aimed to obtain a description of ability to speak Indonesian through story telling with pictorial television media in children 5-6 years. The method of the study used Weak Experimental with One-Shot-Case-Study design. The subjects of the study were 27 kindergarten children 5-6 years in Gresik City. Data were collected using observation and documentation and analyzed using descriptive and quantitative method. The results showed that their ability to speak Indonesian language has developed in high category (85%) after the treatment through story telling with pictorial television media. Keywords: Speaking ability, Indonesian Language, children aged 5-6 years, pictorial television media Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia anak umur 5-6 tahun yang dikembangkan melalui metode bercerita dengan media televisi bergambar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Weak Experimental dengan desain One-Shot-Case-Study. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 27 anak umur 5-6 tahun dari salah satu TK di Kota Gresik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengumpulan data selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan menentukan nilai persentase dari masing-masing indikator perkembangan kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara kesuluruhan kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia anak umur 5-6 tahun telah berkembang dalam kategori tinggi (85%) setelah perlakuan penggunaan metode bercerita dengan media televisi bergambar. Abstract

This research traces the genealogy of the wabah (pandemic) in Dewi Sekardadu's stories. Dewi Sekardadu’s story in this study is taken from the Javanese writing tradition. This paper aim to describe the origin of the wabah in the story (Dewi Sekardadu) and the power relations of knowledge in Java from the point of view of origin and meaning. The theory used is triangulation folklore theory, comparative literature and archo-genealogy of knowledge. The results were (1) almost all Javanese chronicles or chronicles always included Dewi Sekardadu's story because it was always mentioned in the stories of Maulana Ishak or Seh Wali Lanang and Sunan Giri; (2) the position and causes of the wabah in Dewi Sekardadu's storyline in the old writing tradition varied depending on the writing period; and (3) the genealogy of the wabah in Dewi Sekardadu's stories can be traced to several previous Javanese sources or literature, namely the stories of prophets, guardians, and pre-Islamic treasures in Java.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the Chinese ways of being Muslim, from buildingthe Cheng Hoo mosque to serving Islamic education and media literacy. Inthe current millennial disruption era, the role of communication medialiteracy in the contemporary Indonesian Chinese Muslim community needsto be studied further, especially its role in supporting the status of being goodChinese Muslim. This article is also intended to discuss the Chinese ways offostering converts and Chinese Muslims through both communication medialiteracy and information technology literacy. Through media analysis method,communication media literacy is part of communication which is based on whosays what, in which channel, to whom, with what effects. This research finds outthat communication media literacy is used by the Indonesian Chinese Muslimcommunity through the publication of Cheng Hoo magazine, WhatsApp ForumPITI Jatim, website, and Facebook. All of these media are used and have asignificant effect on the relation, interaction, aspiration, and communicationbetween the Chinese Muslim community and Chinese non-Muslim community,and the Chinese Muslim community with non-Chinese Muslims in Indonesia.Moreover, the Chinese ways of being good Muslims could also be understoodfrom various ways in establishing Cheng Hoo Mosque, Islamic educationservices based on Chinese community from Kindergarten, Islamic ElementarySchool, Pesantren, and routine or regular discussions.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana cara-cara orangTionghoa menjadi Muslim dari upaya pembangunan masjid Cheng Hoo hinggapelayanan pendidikan Islam dan literasi media. Di era disrupsi milenial sepertisaat ini, peran literasi media komunikasi dalam komunitas Tionghoa Muslimdi Indonesia kontemporer perlu dikaji lebih lanjut, khususnya perannya dalammendukung menjadi muslim Tionghoa yang baik. Paper ini juga bertujuanuntuk membahas cara Tionghoa dalam pembinaan mualaf dan MuslimTionghoa melalui literasi media komunikasi dan teknologi informasi. Melaluimetode analisis media, literasi media komunikasi merupakan bagian darikomunikasi yang berbasis pada siapa bicara apa, kapan, di mana dan melaluimedia apa serta apa dampaknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasimedia komunikasi yang digunakan komunitas Tionghoa Muslim di Indonesiamelalui penerbitan majalah Cheng Hoo, WhatsApp Forum PITI Jatim, Website dan Facebook. Semua media tersebut digunakan dan memiliki dampak signifikanbagi relasi, interaksi dan komunikasi antara komunitas Tionghoa Muslimdengan Tionghoa non-Muslim dan komunitas Tionghoa Muslim dengan non-Tionghoa Muslim di negeri ini. Lebih dari itu, cara Tionghoa menjadi Muslimyang baik juga terlihat dalam beberapa pelayanan pendidikan Islam berbasiskomunitas Tionghoa di Indonesia dari Taman Kanak-Kanak, Sekolah DasarIslam, pengajian rutin, dan Pesantren.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa Adam Mickiewicz of University tentang Islam di Indonesia. Pengetahuan menjadi variabel yang berperan dalam mempersepsikan Islam di Indonesia melalui proses perkuliahan BIPA. Melalui keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia, mahasiswa ini memiliki kemampuan memperoleh informasi yang pada akhirnya membentuk pengetahuan tentang Islam Indonesia. Kombinasi antara pengetahuan dan bahasa inilah yang menjadikan ide dan gagasan mereka tentang Islam di Indonesia, baik lisan maupun tulisan, dapat terbaca dan dianalisis oleh penulis. Secara implisit ancangan analisis wacana kritis digunakan sebagai kerangka untuk mengembangkan tulisan ini. Pendekatan ini menempatkan teks berbahasa tidak dalam kerangka interpretif namun lebih bersifat kontekstual.Abstract: Islamophobia Discourse and Perceptions of Indonesian Islam Through Language Studies among Polish Students. This article analyzes the perception of Adam Mickiewicz of University students about Islam in Indonesia. Knowledge becomes a variable that plays an important role in perceiving Islam in Indonesia through BIPA lecture process. With Indonesian language skills, this student has the ability to obtain information that ultimately forms the knowledge of Indonesian Islam. The author analyzes the combination of knowledge and language both oral and written that he claims to have contributed to the creation of ideas as well as ideas about Islam in Indonesia. The Critical Discourse Analysis is implicitly used as a framework for developing this paper. This approach places language texts not in an interpretive framework but rather in a more contextual character.Kata Kunci: Islamophobia, Islam Indonesia, mahasiswa Polandia

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia:Lembaga pendidikan Islam mempunyai tanggung jawab yang besar dalam membangun etika dan kepribadian peserta didiknya. Tantangan pendidikan Islam sekarang ini adalah munculnya  pergeseran tata nilai etika dan kepribadian di masyarakat karena pengaruh globalisasi, kemajuan teknologi, problematika sosial serta disparitas kemampuan ekonomi yang berbeda yang secara tidak langsung memunculkan konflik sosial, disharmonisasi hubungan orang tua dengan anak, guru dengan murid dan lain sebagainya. Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber penggalian keilmuan telah menawarkan konsep pembangunan etika dan kepribadian (ethics and personality development) bagi manusia, khususnya peserta didik di lembaga pendidikan  melalui psikologi qur’ani. Konseptualisasi dan teorisasi psikologi qur’ani dalam tulisan ini menggunakan content analisis dengan langkah-langkah; Unitizing, Sampling, Recording, Reducing, Inferring, Anayzing and Narrating. Langkah-langkah metodologis ini akan menghasilkan konsep psikologi yang bersumber dari al-Qur’an dan dikombinasikan dengan beberapa teori psikologi; Connectionism theory, Classical Conditioning, Operant Coditioning, Contiguous Conditioning, Cogitive theory, Social Learning Theory.  Hasilnya membangun rumusan bagaimana membangun etika dan kepribadian  Qur’ani bagi peserta didik di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam. English:Islamic educational institutions have a great responsibility in building learners’ ethics and personality. The challenge of Islamic education today is the emergence of a shift in ethical and personality values in society due to the influence of globalization, technological advancement, social problems, and economic disparities, which indirectly bring about social conflicts, parents-children slack relationships, as well as teachers-students weak engagement. Al-Qur'an as a source of scientific exploration has offered the concept of ethical and personality development (human ethics and personality development), especially for learners in educational institutions through Quranic psychology. The conceptualization and theorization of Quranic psychology in this paper makes use of content analysis with the following step: Unitizing, Sampling, Recording, Reducing, Inferring, Analyzing, and Narrating. These methodological steps results in the psychological concept rooted in the Qur’an to combine with some modern psycological theories, including Connectionism theory, Classical Conditioning, Operant Coditioning, Contiguous Conditioning, Cogitive theory, and Social Learning Theory. The results construct a mechanism of how to build Quranic ethics and personality for learners in Islamic educational  institutions.

Abstract

This research focus upon the development of learning materials in History of Islamic Civilization (SKI) Subject for reading literacy in Bahasa Indonesia subject. The research emphasizes upon the implementation of learning strategy. As the foundation, the research process follows guidelines of School Literacy Program (GLS) and Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) standard of achievement. By the two standards, the researcher does not only follow school literacy development framework but also measuring students’ achievement under internationally recognized standards. Within research and development framework of Borg and Gall, researcher selected an Islamic school that has attempted to integrate literacy program into other subjects but was yet unsuccessfully improve their students’ literacy level. As the end product of this research, learning materials and instructions have been designed in a way of reading literacy program as well as deepening students’ comprehension towards related school subject.

Abstract

Tingkat keterampilan berbicara siswa di SD Yapita Surabaya tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu pihak sekolah mulai tahun pelajaran 2019-2020 memutuskan untuk mengembangkan proses pembelajaran berbicara. Dalam hal ini sekolah mengintegrasikan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara menggunakan konsep pendidikan karakter yang telah ditentukan oleh pemerintah. Akan tetapi pada kondisi pandemi COVID-19 saat ini proses pembelajaran harus menyesuaikan dengan kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu disini kami mengkaji bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran berbicara berbasis karakter pada masa pandemi COVID-19 dan menemukan kelebihan serta kelemahan selama penerapannya di SD Yapita Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Lalu dalam melakukan analisis kami menggunakan teknik analisis dari miles dan huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah bahwa proses pembelajaran berbicara masih bisa berjalan seperti saat sebelum pandemi, hanya saja yang membedakan dengan masa sebelum pandemi COVID-19 adalah pada media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Kelebihannya ialah mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan percaya diri siswa. Lalu untuk kelemahannya adalah terkait disiplin waktu, penggunaan kuota internet dan kurang sesuainya hasil pekerjaan yang dibuat siswa. Saran untuk guru agar kegiatan ini bisa diimplementasikan di masa depan baik ketika kondisi pandemi maupun ketika sudah kembali normal. Saran untuk sekolah adalah agar bisa dijadikan bahan pertimbangan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Lalu saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar bisa dikembangkan lagi metode atau kegiatan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara secara umumnya dan keterampilan berbicara berbasis karakter secara khususnya.

Abstract

The objectives of national education in Indonesia as stipulated in the law of the Republic of Indonesia are transformed from the old order, the new order, the reformation order until the issuance of the National Education System Law Number 20 of 2003. The transformation of national education objectives is caused by several things; socio-political situation, class interests, parliamentary power and so on. On the other hand had Islamic education designs and concepts of its own in formulating educational objectives that are derived from the Qur'an. The second formulation of the educational objectives of this same same has significance in the learning activities in the institution. It is therefore important to know how the purpose of national education Indonesia prespective Islamic education.

Abstract

Abstract Islamic studies that discuss the issue of traffic education in contemporary Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia are necessary to be followed up more seriously. In this context, the main purpose of this research is to find out what and how the problems of traffic as well as traffic education in Indonesia? What is the urgency of developing a traffic education curriculum in an Islamic perspective? This paper is written using qualitative data which is based on references and literature on books, news, journals and opinions in the mass media and other relevant sources in the study of the development of the traffic education in contemporary Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia. The results of the study show that: First, the problem of traffic education in Indonesia is very complex. From day to day, we know that the number of accidents has not yet dropped significantly.Even the highest accident rates occur in the age of students and school children. Secondly, the development of a traffic education curriculum in an Islamic perspective is very urgent given the many problems caused by the many factors underlying traffic accidents. Muslims and Islamic education institutions in this country should take a role of the awareness of students and schoolchildren to carefully keep trying to realize, know and obey all traffic rules for the safety and common good. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain the result of moderate Muslim culture immersion model development into the Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (Bahasa Indonesia for Non-Native Speakers [BIPA]) program in the faculty of New Philology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. The focus of the development is the research and development (R&D) stage, which comprises: preliminary study, development, and testing. This study uses the before-after comparative analysis method on an experimental group with a control group. It is concluded that the model is succeeded in significantly improving the understanding of the BIPA program students on moderate Muslim culture.
