Abstract

Each country has its own national education system, which is adapted to the national philosophical background, policies and strategies, which are also influenced by the state structure adopted and the goals to be achieved within the framework of the nation and state. One effort to improve the quality of a country's education is with a curriculum policy. Therefore, this article aims to analyze education curriculum policies in Indonesia in terms of comparison with five countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Finland. The method used is literature review. From the results of data analysis, it was found that curriculum policy in Indonesia is still far behind those of the five countries, so there is a need for changes in the curriculum regulations established by the Indonesian government. The current curriculum policy still has not achieved the goals of the national education system.

Abstract

The development of the 2013 Curriculum, which is the reference for implementing learning at every level of education, is expected to be an improvement in mindset, curriculum management, deepening and expanding material, strengthening the learning process, and adjusting learning loads in order to ensure conformity between what is desired and what is produced. So in K13 the learning approach used is a scientific approach and authentic assessment, where the development of learning is by applying 21st century skills. 21st century learning is a learning transition where the developed curriculum guides schools to change the learning approach from teacher centered to student centered. This is in accordance with future demands where students must have thinking and learning skills. Therefore, this research focuses on increasing students' interest in learning about moral aqidah lessons at the madrasah tsanawiyah level. The author found that students' interest in learning at MTsN Bintan in moral aqidah lessons was very lacking. This is because teachers teach in a monotonous way where the learning that takes place is still teacher centered so that boredom arises in students during the learning process. The instruments used in this research were interviews and observations. From the results of the analysis, data was obtained that the application of a scientific approach is very appropriate for teaching moral aqidah. So there appears to be an increase in students' interest in studying moral aqidah after implementing a scientific approach using the poster comment method.

Abstract

The development of science for decades has been influenced by Western and Eastern philosophers, resulting in science that is considered too rationalistic and wastes humanity. This has a huge impact on Muslims, because the development of science causes a decline in morals and ethics that are not based on Islam. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to find out Ismail Raji' Al Faruqi's views on the Islamization of knowledge through the concept of monotheism. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review method. Where the author collects factual data and information and explores sources contained in journals and scientific articles, encyclopedias, documents and other relevant data sources. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the main thought of Ismail Raji' Al Faruqi was the concept of integrating Islamic education and science, namely combining two scientific fields to become interrelated and inseparable, so that science can develop harmoniously and there is no dichotomy. Islamization is not just the activity of naming Islamic verses or sciences, but rather the process of building an appropriate methodology based on Islamic concepts, ensuring that the sciences applied follow existing Islamic law.
