Abstract

Virtual Reality Website of Jeron Beteng is an effort task to make virtual visualization of Jeron Beteng with its heritage and social cultural life of the people who lived surround it as an object. The visualized element of Virtual Reality Website of Jeron Beteng is an interactive broadcast of photographical view of specific locations in Jeron beteng area with 3600 widely views. The user of this website can see and twist the unlimited angle of a photo object, it can be twist whether from right to left orup and down, and zoom in or zoom out the appearance of the tourist object photos in the area of Jeron Beteng. The user also can move from one location to another location only by click, so they can feel the sensation of their presences in that location. Virtual Reality Website of Jeron Beteng has some superior aspects like in multimedia contents, the complete information of Jeron Beteng tourism activities, and designed as an artificial object. This website is created as a media to recognize the potential of Jeron Beteng as a tourist object. The expected effect of this website is to make tourist more curious and motivated them to come and see directly the atmosphere of Jeron Beteng itself, because virtual visualization can't replaced the sensation of being in the location.Keywords : Website, Virtual Reality and Jeron Beteng

Abstract

Desa Bedoyo memiliki potensi seni tari, karawitan, campursari, dan kerajinan yang memerlukan publikasi sebagai bentuk branding desa. Pembuatan video profil dirasa sebagai bentuk medium yang paling representatif untuk mendokumentasikan potensi budaya Desa Bedoyo.Penyuluhan ditujukan untuk mengenalkan pembuatan video kepada warga, meningkatkan keterampilan warga dalam pembuatan video secara mandiri, dan menghasilkan video profil yang berdaya jual. Video profil dikemas dengan tampilan yang modern, tetapi tidak kaku sehingga menarik untuk ditonton dengan  gaya penceritaan “video branded content”. Meski video profil belum terselesaikan, materi yang telah diberikan: potensi desa, ide cerita video, pembuatan script, pengetahuan storyboard, diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal untuk secara mandiri menyebarkan informasi desa melalui berbagai media. Bedoyo Village has plenty cultural potential ranging from dances, Javanese traditional instrument (karawitan), and handcrafts which are in need of publication for the village’s branding. A profile video is considered as the most representative medium to document Bedoyo village potentials. This workshop is aimed to introduce the art of videography to the community to increase their skill in independently developing their own profile video and publishing an appealing village profile video. The profile video will be told in a modern narrative, free from astute formality so that it will generate more interest to the public through the “video branded content” narrative. Although the video itself is not completed just yet, through the materials distributed to the community: village potentials, story ideas, script writing, storyboard making, it is hoped that these will be the foundation for the society’s creativity and independence in making and distributing useful information through various media.
