Abstract

Studies on the development of Hadith Thought in Indonesia are rare. However, it does not mean that it did not develop at all, because the study of hadith at the beginning of the entry of Islam in Indonesia at that time was only an anthology that is a collection of various themes related to the study of jurisprudence, so it is still mixed with other disciplines. This study reveals the development of hadith thought in the XVII and XVIII centuries, especially the thought of 'Abd Rauf Al-Sinkili, who represented the scholars at that time. Through the description of the analysis of this research shows that hadith at that time has not developed into a separate discipline, Because the study of new hadith on the plains, not theoretically arranged. Proven by the publication of Al-Sinkili's work on hadith; the first Syarah Latif 'ala Arba'in Hadith li Imam an-Nawawi, which is an interpretation of 40 hadiths by al-Nawawi, the second is al-Mawa'iz al-Badi'ah, a collection of hadith qudsi, which is the revelation of God delivered to the believers through the words of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. In his study of Hadith, Al-Sinkili sought to reflect the efforts to make the ways of the Prophet - in addition to the teachings of the Qur'an - not only a source of law, but also an inexhaustible inspiration for worthy moral practices.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the core texts in the history of Arab civilization. Because the Qur’an uses Arabic, one of the medieval thinkers of the Qur’an, Al-Raghib al-Asfahani, focused his research on the essence of the Qur’an and its character as a language text. This study focuses on al-Asfahani's views on the Qur'an, Tafsir and Ta'wil. Through the description of the analysis of this research shows that Al-Asfahani tried to understand the Qur'an through deepening the Arabic language through his work mu'jam al-Mufradat li Alfaz al-Qur'an. For al-Asfahani, the most important means of understanding the Qur'an is through mastery of language. Because the Qur'an as a great book in Arabic, with its wonderful literary influence. More specifically, He describes the verses of the Qur'an through the mufradat (vocabulary) of the words and the meanings it shows according to the placement of the words in the sentence sequence. So do not depart from a verse and then peeled through the study of language, but the method used is to determine the vocabulary or key words in the Qur'an and then connected with the pieces of verses that contain the same word.

Abstract

Problematika mendasar dalam mengkaji hermeneutik adalah problem teks,baik teks historis maupun teks keagamaan, yang berkaitan dengan tradisi, di satu sisi, dan dengan pengarang di sisi lain. Agar problem tersebut tidak mengacaukan relasi antara pengarang (author ), penafsir (reader) dengan teks, dalam dinamika pergumulan pemikiran hukum Islam khususnya dan pemikiran Islam umumnya, perlu dilakukan dialektik yang kreatif dan kritis. Dengan demikian, menjadi keharusan mengetahui bagaimana tokoh-tokoh hermeneutika kontemporer semisal William E. Paden, Richard C. Martin, Shahrur, Nashr Hamid Abu Zayd, dan Khaled Abou El-Fadl menerapkan basis pemikirannya. Karena mereka sangat tajam mengkritik konservatisme pemikiran Islam dan berusaha mendekonstruksi hegemoni pemikiran klasik yang masih tertanam kuat dalam pengetahuan dan kesadaran umat Islam

Abstract

Istilah majas (metafora) tidak terdapat di dalam Al-Qur'an, baik secara bahasa atau istilah, namun istilah al-mitsal dalam perkembangan tafsir adalah istilah yang sebanding maknanya dengan majas. Seiring dengan perkembangan tafsir dan takwil, terjadi pembatasan terhadap unsur-unsur dan jenis-jenis majas yang berbeda-beda, seperti kinayah, tasybih, isti'arah, hadzf, dan sebagainya. Mu’tazilah menganggap bahwa majas sebagai penakwilan yang utama. Ketika mereka sulit menganalisis struktur bahasa al-Qur'an untuk menjelaskan majas dari sebuah ungkapan, mereka berpegang kepada indikator akal (qarinah 'aqliyyah) yang mereka anggap lebih meyakinkan dibandingkan indikator kata (qarinah lafziyyah) yang terangkat dalam sebuah ungkapan. Untuk mengungkapkan konsep metafora al-Qur’an dalam perspektif Mu'tazilah, perlu kiranya menjelaskan beberapa tokoh Mu'tazilah dan karya-karyanya yang membahas tentang kajian bahasa, seperti Muqatil ibn sulaiman, Abu 'Ubaidah, Al-Farra’, Al-Jahizh, dan Al-Qadhi 'Abd Al-Jabbar.

Abstract

Context analysis plays an important role in understanding revelatory events, because the concept of "revelation" cannot be understood unless you look at the previous context. This indicates that there is a relationship between reality (as context) and the text. One cannot possibly understand by taking the text outside of reality. Therefore, asbab al-nuzul (events that occurred and accompanied the revelation of a verse of the Qur'an) is very necessary to understand a condition. But the context here is broader than asbab al-nuzul, because asbab al-nuzul becomes necessary only to see special events. This assumption about asbab al-nuzul was developed by A'isyah Bint al-Syathi'. According to him, asbab al-nuzul is nothing more than postulates surrounding the text, or external conditions of revelation. Therefore, he emphasizes the universality of meaning rather than the specificity of the condition (al-'ibratu bi'umum al-lafzi la bi specifically al-sabab). He tried to develop a "narrative text theory" that stated that verses were revealed based on specific reasons but were expressed in the form of general pronunciations, so the general pronunciation was used as a guide.
