Abstract

Fulfilling the need for food in the modern era changes as technology advances, not to mention the COVID-19 pandemic which requires that interpersonal communication be strictly avoided and/or distanced. The Sayurbox application provides a practical solution to connect buyers and sellers, whether as partners, agents, suppliers, etc. This research was presented with the aim of seeing the presence of the Sayurbox Business in accelerating in this case of family roles of Mr. Simon and Steward (a ten year old child) who has a father and son relationship. Leaning on the constructivism paradigm with a qualitative approach, Youtube Digital Content that tells the experience of the role of the family using Mayring Content Analysis Method. Results showed that Le Poire's Family Communication Role Theory which consists of two main functions can be accelerated well with the Sayurbox Application. The role of nurturing and controling occurs simultaneously in the form of carefully educating Mr. Simon as a father to the Steward as a child. The education delivered is not only verbal, but is implemented directly in the form of work in the daily life of the family.

Abstract

When the pandemic hit, the family's economy became less stable. Such a situation is when women's role is needed and has an impact on the family economy. One of the women in the city of Blitar opened an agribusiness of organic vegetables harvested from her garden. Her optimistic attitude made the business survive facing the changing events. A study was aimed to analyze how the woman's upbeat attitude survived in the pandemic era regarding business in the agriculture sector (agribusiness). The study employed a qualitative approach and interpretive paradigm. It analyzed a news coverage video with semiotics square analysis from AJ Greimas. The results include the priority dimension was personalization. The subject saw that external problems (the pandemic) could be resolved. Moreover, there was a pervasiveness dimension: belief for the situation to get better. The study results found that in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of women and their optimistic attitude were required to drive and survive the business. In conclusion, to achieve success in starting or conducting a business, self-confidence and an attitude of optimism are essential, which sees the challenges of life are temporary and will improve in the future.Ketika pandemi melanda, ekonomi keluarga pun menjadi kurang stabil. Di sinilah, peran perempuan diperlukan dan berdampak bagi ekonomi keluarga. Salah satu perempuan di kota Blitar, membuka usaha agribisnis dengan menjual sayuran organik yang ia tanam di pekarangan rumahnya cukup menghasilkan keuntungan. Hal ini berkaitan dengan sikap optimisme yang dimiliki perempuan, untuk tetap bertahan dalam keadaan menghadapi perubahan peristiwa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana sikap optimisme perempuan tersebut bertahan di era pandemic dengan membuka bisnis sayur organik. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif serta paradigma interpretif dan menganalisis sebuah video liputan berita dengan analisis semiotika square dari AJ Greimas. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi dimensi yang diutamakan adalah personalisasi, dimana subjek melihat masalah eksternal (pandemi Corona) dapat terselesaikan dan adanya dimensi pervasiveness, yakni keyakinan akan menjadi lebih baik. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa di era pandemi COVID-19, peran perempuan dan sikap optimis perempuan diperlukan demi bertahan hidup dan mengerakkan bisnis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini untuk mencapai kesuksesan dalam bisnis atau membuka bisnis maka diperlukan keyakinan diri serta serta sikap optimisme yang melihat tantangan hidup seperti di era pandemi ini bersifat sementara dan akan menjadi lebih baik di masa depan.
