Abstract

This qualitative research aims to describe the students' interests and learning outcomes by learning a flipped classroom assisted by Edmodo on Pythagorean material. This research was conducted at SMP Mu'adz Bin Jabal Kendari in 2020 for grade VIIIB students, totaling 31 students. Learning interest data is obtained through a learning interest questionnaire, and learning outcome test data is obtained through a learning outcome test with the Edmodo application. The data analysis technique of this research includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed that Edmodo's flipped classroom had improved learning outcomes and student interest in learning at SMP-TQ Muadz bin Jabal Kendari on Pythagorean material. This is indicated by the level of completeness of student learning outcomes reaching 77% and student interest in learning is in the high category.

Abstract

The society in using language is susceptible to any type of word including the expression of swear word. This research aims to determine of the types in swear word use based on the gender of its use in communication. Descriptive qualitative is used as a research approach and its application uses phenomenology methods. The data are from male and female students by matching them to Wardhaugh’s and Jay’s list of swear word. Students of elefth social three are selected for this research. Analysis of the results of gender-based reviews shows that men are stronger in the use of swear word forms. In contrast to women who are more aggressive and talk much only in their groups. Sex, death, excretion, bodily functions, religious matters, politics, mother-in-law, animals, nicknames are more widely used by men. For the types of rude comments women use more. This is indicated by their words and expressions that are more feminine and long-winded. Finally, the swear word which is included in this taboo word is used sometimes not the same for men and women.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the pronunciation of the students in speakingclass through phonemic chart media. The findings from this report measure that most ofstudents had difficulties in the correct sound symbol, stress, rhythm, and intonation.More specifically, the results showed that the difficulties affected by many factors suchas lack of practicing, listening, imitating, and teaching learning process by the lecturercauses the students felt bored because the teaching learning process seemed to bemonotonous. These findings suggest that phonemic chart is one of solution in solvingthe problem of students’ pronunciation. The researcher believes this chart became agood media for students in enhancing their pronunciation ability and also to make theenjoyable situation in teaching learning process. In this research, the researcher used aclassroom action research in which the setting was conducted in STKIP PGRIBangkalan which involves one class of second semester students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan varietas sawi terhadap beberapa sistem hidroponik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan Tagrimart BPTP Aceh pada bulan Oktober sampai bulan November. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan petak terpisah (split plot design) dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial terdiri dari dua faktor (3x3) masing masing diulang 3 kali. yaitu faktor pertama sebagai petak utama adalah sistem hidroponik dengan taraf H1 = Sistem Datar, H2 = Sistem DFT, H3 = Sistem Bertingkat, (H1 dan H3 = sistem NFT), dan anak petak yaitu Varietas dengan taraf V1 sawi pakcoy, V2 sawi caisim, V3 sawi hijau, yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 27 unit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan sistem hidroponik berpengaruh nyata terhadap rata rata tinggi tanaman umur 7 HST, berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap rata rata jumlah daun umur 21 HST. Pada perlakuan varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap rata rata tinggi tanaman umur 21 HST, jumlah daun umur 7 dan 14 HST, berat daun pertanaman dan berat basah per tanaman.   Keywords : varietas; sistem hidroponik; produksi; sawi.

Abstract

The research problem of this research is divided into two: (1) how Gayonese language is maintained in intermarriage families in Langsa and (2) how the parents' roles are in maintaining Gayonese language in intermarriage families in Langsa. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and the instrument of this research is observation and interview. Steps of collecting data include observing the location of the research, getting participants and then doing interviews with participants, which are four families. The family is intermarriage family that is marriage from one tribe to another tribe. In this research, Gayonese intermarriage families are as the subject of research. The results of the analysis show that there are four Gayonese intermarriage families in Gampong Serambi Indah that can inherit their Gayonese language to their children. Furthermore, based on factor and domain analysis affecting their language to be maintained is the role of parents to teach them Gayonese language. Then there are three domains also that influence gayonese language to be maintained to the second generation: environment, home, and school.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the analysis of junior high school students' mathematical reasoning abilities on social arithmetic material in terms of students' mathematical literacy. the research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Sampling using porposive sampling technique. The sample in this study consisted of 31 class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Tirawuta. The research instrument used was a test in the form of a description of mathematical reasoning abilities consisting of 4 questions, and interviews. The results showed that in terms of students' mathematical literacy. Based on 31 students in class VII A, it was found that the frequency of the high-level literacy category was 4 students with a percentage of 13%, the frequency for the medium-level literacy category was 9 students with a percentage of 29%, and the frequency for the category low-level literacy, namely 18 students with a percentage of 58%, from 31 students in class VII A, it was found that the frequency of the high-level reasoning category was 4 students, the frequency for the medium-level reasoning category was 9 students, and the frequency for the low-level category was 18 students, and Mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of students' mathematical literacy, namely 4 students with high levels of mathematical literacy have high levels of mathematical reasoning abilities, 10 students with moderate levels of mathematical literacy have moderate levels of mathematical reasoning abilities, and 18 students with low levels of mathematical literacy have pen skills. low-level mathematical solutions.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of giving an overview to KBKM students in solving problems related to flat shapes. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The research sample was selected using the cluster random sampling method and a sample of 22 students was obtained. The tools used in this study were tests and interviews. Descriptive analysis of research data, students' KBKM in completing questions on flat material, with an average score of 50 which is the same as the value in the quite creative category, 4 students in the criteria of very creative, creative and creative enough, 9 students in the criteria not less creative and 1 student on uncreative criteria. From the results of data analysis it can also be seen that the main problem of the students' KBKM in solving the first flat matter problem lies in the elaboration indicator, which from the results of data analysis and interviews it can be seen that in solving the questions students have difficulty in giving correct and detailed answers. students were not careful in working on the questions and some students were able to understand questions related to elaboration indicators. Furthermore, the second biggest problem lies in the authenticity indicator. In this indicator students have difficulty making answers using their own way, the majority of students are only able to follow the method exemplified by the teacher.
