Abstract

Tobacco is one of the six most important commodities in Indonesia. This sector is the most strategic that can absorb millions of workers, ranging from tobacco farmers, laborers or workers to tobacco companies. One of the stages in tobacco processing is the drying process. Drying using sunlight is often distracted by erratic weather changes such as rain, this can cause the drying process to be slow and require very long drying time. Based on the above, a tobacco dryer was developed by implementing the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) method as the temperature controller and its moisture meter. This tool uses LM35DZ type temperature sensors and Soil Moisture YL-69 type moisture sensors. In addition, this artificial drying process also uses heating elements instead of heat from sunlight. Programming tool is made using Arduino uno microcontroller. When compared to conventional drying, the drying results using the tool will be superior in terms of time efficiency, human power and product quality.

Abstract

Simulation of detection system for equipments electronics aim to facilitate people watch existence of equipments electronics or other valuable objects that still residing in on position which determined, if house in a state of remained house owner. This detection also at the same time can be functioned as preventative of thief. This detection system use 2 of HP ( Handphone), HP1 reside in house which incircuit with detection system and HP2 holded by house owner. Existence of electronics equipments that residing in house can be watched automatically from long distance with delivering SMS from HP1 to HP2 on the happening of condition of electronic equipments making of move from initialy position, also alarm will sound at home for notification to security or neighbour. SMS can be also delivered from HP2 to HP1 for the checking of electronic equipments if notification of HP2 at home don’t be executed when position the electronic equipments have making a move. The detection in the form of censor infra red (optocoupler) residing in at elbow equipments of electronic at home which input to parallel port ( DB25) of PC ( personal of computer). While HP1 incircuit serially port ( DB9) and thsi function of HP is executed by program of Visual Basic 6.0. Program to detect infra red and activate alarm also use Visually Basic 6.0.

Abstract

Many parking area still use manual system such as ticketing, parking position, etc. Nowadays, this system can be control easier using microcontroller. In this control system, infra red and photodiode are used to inform when car come and out to parking area. Another sensor, ultrasonic, is used to help driver to park the car safely. Alarm will warn the driver if the position of the car broke the limitation of safety range to park. In another hand, the empty parking areas are display in LCD and related with portal which opened when the empty parking area still available and close if it full automatically. Abstract

Koper merupakan salah satu alat yang sering digunakan untuk menyimpan berbagai barang berharga pada saat berpergian,oleh karena itu koper menjadi sangat rentan untuk menjadi tindak kejahatan.Keamanan koper yang masih standart menyebabkan koper dengan mudahnya menjadi sasaran tindak kejahatan,maka dari itu dibuatlah alat keamanan koper dengan GPS berbasis mikrokontroler dengan output SMS. Alat pengaman koper ini memanfaatkan aplikasi google maps untuk melacak keberadaan koper.Titik koordinat tersebut akan dikirimkan melalui SMS kepada user dan user bisa melacak dimana koper tersebut berada.Titik koordinat yang dikirimkan melalui SMS dan dapat dilacak melalui google maps dengan menggunakan android.Perangkat yang digunakan modul GPS Ublox NEO 6M sebagai penentu koordinat posisi koper,modul SIM900 sebagai pegirim data dalam bentuk SMS,sensor limit switch untuk menentukan koper dalam keadaan terbuka.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the Design of Fish Feeding Equipment for IoT-Based Floating Cages. The purpose of this study was to design a fish feeder for floating net cages using ESP-32 CAM, ultrasonic sensor, RTC module and servo motor. The research stages start from hardware design, software design, testing and analysis. The results showed that the RTC Module was functioning properly according to the Blynk Application Time Input Widget. A notification will be sent to the smartphone when the remaining volume of fish feed is less than 20%. ESP32-CAM can send images and stored on webhosting the results of the images displayed are affected by the signal speed. Overall the tool can function well. For further research, you can add a weight sensor to find out how much feed is given in each specified time.

Abstract

PCBs are very influential on the manufacture of electronic devices, for example when there is even a small number of PCB paths that are cut off or damaged, the electronic device cannot be operated properly. Therefore, in this study, the author tried to create and analyze a defect checking tool on PCBs to replace human vision to make it easier and can save costs. This tool is equipped with the help of a Logitech c920 Webcam and a Raspberry Pi 3b+ microprocessor which is used to store and run programs that have been created on Python programming software, so this tool can be used portablely. With these two technologies, Image Processing can be used to detect objects with the OpenCv library and Google Colab. PCB defect detection tool with the help of Image Processing uses yolo convolutional neural network method to help determine path damage on the PCB. You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm with five detection classifications, namely short, open circuit, missing hole, mouse bite, and spur. From the results of the study, the results were obtained that the YOLO algorithm was able to detect these five classifications with a value of mAP@0.5 short 90.67%, open circuit 97.86%, Mouse Bite 94.43%, Missing Hole 96.09%, and spur 97.56%.

Abstract

Industry 4.0, or the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is a recent technological development that has significantly changed the industrial production process. One of the keys to this change is the Internet of Things (IoT), where the role of humans is likely to diminish and be replaced by machines. Aligning the workforce with IoT is important, but creating a qualified workforce is a challenge. IoT learning modules are needed to help students understand IoT concepts. The purpose of this research is to design an Internet of Things kit module with Radio communication with LoRa SX1278 Ra-02. The research stages start from literature study, hardware design, software design and overall testing. Module testing is done by sending DHT11 sensor data using LoRa SX1278 Ra-02 and monitored in Thingspeak. From the test results that have been carried out, it can be concluded that sending using LoRa (Long Range) technology is influenced by distance and obstacles. At a distance of 40 to 230 metres, communication between the Lora Transmitter and Lora Receiver is successful, which shows that LoRa technology is able to overcome communication distances in that range. However, at a distance of more than 230 metres to 300 metres, data transmission can still be done by the Lora Transmitter, but the data cannot be received by the Lora Receiver, indicating a bottleneck in communication.

Abstract

A remote temperature monitoring system has been created in the server room using LoRa technology which is based on preventing overheating on servers which can affect the performance of components in the server. The research objective is to design and implement a new LoRa-based server room monitoring system design. The targets of this research are (a) creating a system prototype, (b) programming the system with the help of Arduino IDE, (c) measuring system performance. The research method starts from making a prototype and measuring system performance. The results of system performance measurements, testing on LoRa showed the best RSSI results of -56 dBm, temperature data from 17°C -19°C and humidity from 55% to 59% in the server room. Overall the tool can function well.
