Abstract

Accidents often occur in the company. In order to prevent accidents, the company must consider the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) of its employees. This study discussed about K3, especially the calculation and analysis of the value of the Frequency Rate (FR), Severity Rate (SR), and Medical Treatment Injury Frequency Rate (MTIFR) Company from 2009 to downy mildew in June of 2010. The values of FR, SR, and MTIFR obtained varied because of differences in the number of accidents and total working hours of existing employees. After that, an analysis is conducted on the causes of these accidents. Direct cause of the accident consisted of 2 reasons, namely unsafe act and unsafe condition. Basic causes of accidents were 2 factors, namely individual factors and work factors. Individual factors that cause the highest accidents are due to employee motivation blunders and job factors are the highest cause of work accidents are due to poor design of equipment and workplaces.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of the elements of brand equity Celebrity Fitness, namely knowing the brand awareness, brand association is formed, to know how the perception of performance and the interests of the brand, how consumers brand loyalty, and what attributes of service quality a priority for improved performance to can meet consumers desire to achieve satisfaction. The method used is descriptive method with the sampling technique using probability sampling (simple random sampling), with regional research area in West Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that the overall brand equity of the company is good enough to position the brand awareness top of mind, the brand associations that are formed from Celebrity Fitness is where fitness is comfortable and fun and has a diverse and interesting program, another association was formed team aggressive promotion. Performance level of perceived quality is also good enough. To Brand loyalty are in poor condition because of the high percentage of switchers. Overall customer satisfaction levels are good enough just need a little improvement in the performance of staff. The implication of this research is PT Exertainment should improve the performance of some quality attributes are prioritized so that the loyalty of the members has also increased.

Abstract

The study aims to find the total of minimum day that must be spent by CV Buah Segar*) in Purwokerto. CV Buah Segar is a company engaged in the field of fresh fruit agribusiness. In solving marketing problems, the company has seven persons who are the most reliable of the 28 employees to be sent to the seven cities of marketing. The company calculates the total of minimum day they could solve the marketing problems in seven cities which have decreased dramatically in total sales. This decrease will affect the expenditure of the company to incur. The results of the seven employees, whom were Joni, Dodi, Tomi, Andi, Iwan, Wibowo, Kuncoro, and Wahyu after assignment minimization method, required 119 days to 7 employees. So that, the average was 17 days for one employee.

Abstract

In this high-tech era, there have been tremendous advances in tech-based products and services. Internet is one of them that have widened the world’s eyes to a new borderless marketplace. High competition among internet service providers has pushed companies to create competitive advantage and brilliant marketing strategies. They undertake positioning mapping to describe product or service’s positioning amongst many competitors. The right positioning strategy becomes a powerful weapon to win in the battle. This research is designed to create positioning mapping based on perceptual mapping. The researcher uses Multidimensional Scaling and image mapping to achieve this research goal. Sampling is using non-probability sampling in Jakarta. Based on non-attribute approach, the research findings show that there is similarity between two different brands. Thus, both brands are competing against one another. On the other hand, CBN and Netzap provider reflect some differences to others. And some brands require some improvements in terms of network reliability.

Abstract

PT Cahaya Buana Furindotama is a company incorporated in the Olympic Group. This company is a manufacturingcompany which produces furniture and household-wares made from plastic material. Problems en countered were rawmaterial shortage and production delay, though the company already had a partnership with several suppliers because ofthe un-integrated data and there was a “human error” in data entry. Results of the problem were the company could losemarket share and threatened with competitors’ position. Based on the problems which arose, it was proposed to use an e-SCMapplication system at the company because e-SCM application system could help the company to manage flow of raw materialbetter and strengthen the company’s relationship between suppliers and distributors. The methods used were Porter’s FiveForces to analyze the company’s position in market and SWOT Method to determine a strategy could be used by the company.Based on the internal matrix (IFE), the result obtained was 3:08. Whereas, the external matrix (EFE), the result obtained was3:34. Based on both results, it can be concluded that the company is in a strong position in matrix IE. Whereas, the strategyused is Strengths-Opportunity (SO) which is in SWOT matrix. It is expected that the SO strategy and e-SCM applicationsystem, the company can be more strength its position in the market.Keywords: e-SCM, SWOT, internal matrix, external matrix

Abstract

Various surveys show that the key to corporate success lies not only on the product or service being offered but how far the company’s efforts to satisfy the needs of its customers. Companies have to provide products or services that match customer needs and wants, and then maintain close relations with customers. Customer loyalty will be the key to success, not only in the short term but sustainable competitive advantage. This is because customer loyalty has strategic value for the company. One way that proved effective and successful to meet and satisfy customer needs is through the CRM (Customer Relationship Management). CRM is not new in the business world. Customer Relationship has long been applied by traditional businessmen. Technology in the form of a web can be utilized as a catalyst in improving the quality of CRM. Combining Technology and CRM in a business called E-CRM. E-CRM application development web based on PT Trafoindo Prima Perkasa aims to analyze and design company and customer needs. The research method used in this writing is descriptive survey method primarily associated with the customer. The analysis tool used is the model porter five forces and industry analysis: CPM Matrix, the External Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE), the Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE), SWOT Matrix, IE Matrix, SPACE Matrix, and Grand Strategy Matrix to identify alternative strategies can be applied. Alternative strategy is then measured with a Matrix QSP charm, coupled with the approach of Object Oriented Analysis and Design as the basis for the development of E-CRM application based on web. Conclusions obtained are E-CRM applications have produced work as expected.Keywords: development, application of E-CRM, Trafoindo Prima Perkasa

Abstract

During the tight competition in automotive market in Indonesia, all car producers are demanded to adopt a competitive strategy to retain or to enlarge their market shares. In Indonesia, the size of the car market has been steadily decreased since 2006, commercial cars sales decreases by 60 percent. Premium car sales go down by 40 percent. (Gaikindo, 2006) While some players in the automotive industry is still optimistic, the opposite view happens with Isuzu producer. The problem is not only decreasing national cars issue but also the release of a regulation regarding standardization of vehicle emission. This regulation states that Euro 2 standardization will be applied starting January 2005 for new vehicles, and for existing cars, it will be starting in January 2007. Isuzu may change all its product line up, especially concerning for their product development to align with government rules about Euro 2 standardization, however, this moves will affect for sale price, new product investment and consumer preferences. The problem that facing Isuzu is that how to compete in the middle of decreasing cars sales and how flexible the strategy is in its implementation and what decisions should be taken regarding the Minister Environments Decision about gas emission from so that the company still can survive and compete in market by providing quality services for the consumer. This study also provides some recommendations to face the aforementioned matters above.
