Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the cultural values of Lampung in the collection of short stories Women on the Stage by Isbedy Stiawan ZS. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: (1) The meanings of the words found were different in each research data, (2) The class of words found in the study, namely the classes of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, (3) The functions found were in the form of function of using local languages.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai budaya Lampung dalam kumpulan cerpen Perempuan di Rumah Panggung karya Isbedy Stiawan ZS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Makna kata yang ditemukan berbeda di setiap data penelitian, (2) Kelas kata yang ditemukan dalam penelitian, yakni kelas kata benda, kata kerja, kata sifat, dan kata keterangan, (3) Fungsi yang ditemukan berupa fungsi pemakaian bahasa daerah. Keywords: implication, local color, short story.

Abstract

This study formulates the problem of how to learn the melinting flower dance. This study aims to describe the process of learning the melinting flower dance, describe the range of motions of the melinting flower dance and the methods used by trainers in teaching dance. The theory used is behavioristic theory, this type of research is qualitative which produces descriptive data. The techniques used in collecting data are: observation, interviews, documentation and practice tests. Sources of data were obtained from arts and culture teachers, creators of the melinting flower dance, dance trainers and seven students of SMAS Bina Mulya Gadingrejo. The instrument used is a trainer's observation sheet. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the learning process for the melinting dance for six meetings were obtained through practical tests with good, sufficient and poor criteria.Keywords: Learning, Kembang Melinting Dance, Extracurricular.

Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan hasil cipta pengarang dengan penuangan penggambaran kehidupan. Sejatinya, yang disajikan dalam suatu karya sastra bersifat fiktif karena tidak terlepas dari kreativitas pengarangnya. Untuk membangun kesan dan pemaknaan pembaca, suatu karya dibangun dengan adanya unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsi, salah satunya adalah penggunaan bahasa. Gaya bahasa atau yang akrab disebut majas, merupakan bahasa kias sebagai karakteristik pengarang dalam menyampaikan pesan kepada pembaca. Gaya bahasanya dibedakan menjadi gaya bahasa perbandingan, pertentangan, sindiran, dan penegasan.Adapun pisau bedah yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis penggunaan gaya bahasa perbandingan meliputi gaya bahasa personifikasi, asosiasi, simile, metafora, hiperbola, dan metonimia.Kata Kunci: cerita pendek, gaya Bahasa perbandingan,Mashdar Zainal

Abstract

The maxim of quantity is an utterance that contains brief information or is not excessive. This study aims to reveal and describe the realization and violation of the quantity maxims in the cooperative principle of the actors in the "Report Pak!" on Trans7. This study uses a qualitative method that will describe the results of the analysis of the maxims of quantity performed by the performers in the “Report Sir!” program. The quantitative method will produce descriptive data, namely in the form of words or sentences that clearly describe the results of the research that has been done. The data in this study are conversation fragments that obey and violate the maxim of quantity in the principle of cooperation. The data source for this research is the YouTube video “Report Sir!” which aired on Wednesday, April 4, 2023. The video has a duration of 09.49 minutes with the title "Kang Maman Investigates Pasukin, Instead Thinks Wendi's Twin!". The listening and note-taking technique was chosen as the data collection technique in this study. Based on the results of the research that has been done, in the program "Report Sir!", it can be seen that there are two conversations which are the realization of the maxim of quantity and four conversations which are violations of the maxim of quantity.Keywords: The principle of cooperation, maxim of quantity, realization, violation, conversation.
