This study aims to determine the differences in self-efficacy among genders, and the relationship in self-efficacy based on gender with student learning outcomes. The samples in this study were students grade VII of junior high school at district kedaton which amount of 186 that were selected by purposive sampling. This research was a simple-descriptive. Data collection were collectedby written test method and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test and pearson product moment. The result of independent sample t-test showed that the different on self-efficacy between males and females students was not significant. The result of correlation was positive and there was significant relationship between self-efficacy based on gender with learning outcomes of science subjects. Coefficient of Pearson correlation test showed relationship between self efficacy with students learning outcomes with level ofcloseness that was "low".Keywords: gender, learning outcomes, self-efficacyPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan self-efficacy antar gender, dan hubungan self-efficacy berdasarkan gender dengan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP di Kecamatan Kedaton yang berjumlah 186 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes tertulis dan angket. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t sampel independen dan uji pearson product moment. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang tidak signifikan antara self efficacy siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan. Hasil uji korelasi pearson menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara self efficacy dengan hasil belajar IPA. Adapun nilai koefisien yang dihasilkan pada korelasi pearson menunjukkan hubungan antara self efficacy dan hasil belajar adalah “rendah”.Kata kunci : gender, hasil belajar, self-efficacy
