Abstract

This research focused on how the implementation of softskills education in improving students’ character in MAN 1 East Lampung, including the concept and characterists of softskill education, the implementation of soft skill education in improving students’ character, and the influence of softskill education in improving students’ character in MAN 1 East Lampung. This research used a qualitative approach and the type is fenomenology research. The researcher used observation, interview and documentation method in collecting the data. The data were analyzed by some steps; they were reducing the data, presenting the data and conclusion. Having the research, the researcher found some results, they are : 1) The concept and characteristics of softskill education applied in MAN 1 East Lampung used “holistic-integrative” model. It means, both hard skill and softskill were applied integratively by inserting the Islamic values andit was aplied to all school members. 2) The implementation of softskills eduaction in improving students’ character applied through some ways, they are: a) teaching character integratively, b) Islamic habituation program, c) applying practical approach and demontration method, d) Empowering the colaboration to the students’ parent (family) and society enviroment, e) modeling approach by teacher attitudes, and f) extracuriculers activities related to islamic program. The implementation of soft skill education has a significant influence to the improving students’ character. Some proves can be used as the indicator of its program, they are: a) the students’ spiritual awareness to the God, b) Islamic school culture, c) the awareness of students’ dicipline and resposibility.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are conditions in which students are unable to study properly due to disturbances, both from internal and external factors. Islamic religious teachers and character are one of the subjects that are expected to be able to contribute to students to learn and practice the teachings of Islam which contain many values of life. At this time, the whole world has been faced with the Covid-19 virus pandemic. With the virus, teaching and learning activities have undergone a very drastic change. Both teachers and students experience difficulties in learning. Thus, teachers try their best so that learning continues to run well.  Keywords: Teacher, Difficulty, Learning Kesulitan belajar ialah kondisi dimana siswa tidak mampu untuk belajar dengan baik yang disebabkan adanya gangguan, baik berasal dari faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Guru agama Islam dan budi pekerti ialah salah satu mata pelajaran yang diharapkan dapat memberikan konstribusi kepada siswa untuk mempelajari serta mempraktekkan ajaran agama Islam yang terkandung banyak nilai-nilai kehidupan. Pada masa sekarang ini, seluruh dunia telah dihadapkan oleh adanya pandemi virus Covid-19. Dengan adanya virus tersebut, kegiatan belajar mengajar mengalami perubahan yang sangat drastis. Guru maupun siswa sama-sama mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar. Dengan demikian, guru berusaha sebaik mungkin agar pembelajaran tetap terlaksana dengan baik.  Kata Kunci: Guru, Kesulitan, Belajar

Abstract

This article describes the design of an integral learning model in the religious fiqh subject in order to improve students' spiritual intelligence. This study uses the R&D model; ADDIE steps 1-2 or level 1. This study is carried out in three stages, namely; draw up a theoretical basis for design; product design; and test the validity of the design. The validity test is carried out twice, each by four different validators and experts in their fields. Validation is also carried out on supporting devices in the form of religious fiqh teaching materials and learning outcome evaluation instruments. The data collection tools used were literature study and questionnaires. Based on the analysis that has been done, this research shows several things, namely: (1) several complementary theories are found so that it is feasible to design a learning model that can improve students' spiritual intelligence; (2) product creation in the form of an integral learning model design; (3) the validation test of the supporting theory and design obtained a score of 4.5 (very valid), the value of religious fiqh teaching materials was 4.8 (very valid), and the learning outcome evaluation instrument was 4.7 (very valid). Thus it can be stated that the design of this integral learning model is very feasible to be implemented in the religious fiqh course to improve students' spiritual intelligence.
