Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the difference of learning outcomes, the interaction of the use of cooperative learning model of Problem Posing and Probing Promting type by considering the critical thinking. The method used in this research was quasi experiment.The method that was used in this research was quasi experiment with comparative approach. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Kotabumi.The study design used treatment by level design. The population in this study were 4 classes with 150 students and the samples used that were 2 classes with 75 students were determined through random cluster sampling. Data collection technique used test. Hypothesis testing was using twoway analysis of variance and t-test of two independent sampels. Based on analysis of the data is collected the result that there was a difference in study results and the useof learning model type the problem posing is better than type probing promting by considering the critical thinking. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar, interaksi penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Problem Posing dan Probing Promting dengan mempertimbangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan komparatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu treatment by level. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Kotabumi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 4 kelas dengan jumlah 150 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas dengan jumlah 75 siswa yang ditentukan melalui cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis varians dua jalan dan t-tes dua sampel independen. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar dan model pembelajaran tipe Problem Posing lebih baik dibandingkan tipe Probing Promting dengan mempertimbangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis.
