Abstract

This study aimed to describe the development of children’s empathy with the focus of research (1) Learning Planning; (2) Learning Process; (3) Evaluation of Learning. The research method used in this research was qualitative approach with case study design. The data were collected by using through interview, observation, and documentation. The data sources consisted of school principal, teachers and parents. The data analyted by using Miles and Hubberman model: Data collection; Data reduction; Data presentation; Drawing conclusions. Research Setting: Titah Bunda Integrated PAUD of Bandar Lampung for 18 days. Results showed that: Learning planning, teacher developed children’s empathy by planning some supporting methods. Learning process, teachers developed children’s empathy by implementing learning using learning methods and appropriate learning models. Evaluation of learning, teachers evaluated learning by evaluation methods and evaluation tools appropriate.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan empati anak dengan fokus penelitian (1) Perencanaan Pembelajaran; (2) Proses Pembelajaran; (3) Evaluasi Pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru dan orangtua. Teknik analisa data menggunakan model Miles dan Hubberman, yakni: Pengumpulan data; Reduksi data; Penyajian data; Proses penarikan kesimpulan. Setting data: PAUD Terpadu Titah Bunda Bandar Lampung dengan rentang waktu 18 hari. Hasil penelitian: Perencanaan pembelajaran, guru mengembangkan empati anak dengan merencanakan metode pembelajaran yang mendukung. Proses pembelajaran, guru mengembangkan empati anak dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan metode pembelajaran dan model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Evaluasi pembelajaran, guru mengevaluasi pembelajaran dengan cara evaluasi dan alat evaluasi yang tepat.Kata kunci: anak usia dini, empati, guru.
