Abstract

This research aimed to determine the differences of multirepresentation skills in physics at three levels (symbolic, submicroscopic, and macroscopic) between students with concrete thinking skill and students with formal thinking skill. The population in this study was all students of class X IPA SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar, while the selected sample with purposive sampling technique was the students of class X IPA 1. Data of students concrete and formal thinking skill was obtained from the Science Cognitive Development Test (SCDT) score, while data of students multirepresentation skills was known through the multirepresentation skills test scores. Based on the results of mann whitney and independent sample t test can be concluded that: (1) There is a difference in the multirepresentation skills, submicroscopic representation skill, and symbolic representation skill between students with concrete thinking skill and students with formal thinking skill. (2) There is no difference in the macroscopic representation skill between students with concrete thinking skill and students with formal thinking skill. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan multirepresentasi fisika pada tiga level (simbolik, submikroskopik, dan makroskopik) antara siswa yang berpikir konkret dan siswa yang berpikir formal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar, sedangkan sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas X IPA 1. Data kemampuan berpikir konkret dan formal siswa diperoleh dari skor Science Cognitive Development Test (SCDT) sedangkan data kemampuan multirepresentasi siswa diketahui melalui skor tes kemampuan multirepresentasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji mann whitney dan independent sample t test dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan multirepresentasi, representasi submikroskopik, dan representasi simbolik antara siswa yang berpikir konkret dan siswa yang berpikir formal (2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan representasi makroskopik antara siswa yang berpikir konkret dan siswa yang berpikir formal.Kata Kunci:Formal, Konkret, Multirepresentasi, SCDT

Abstract

This research aimed at improving students’ skills of writing for the eleventh grade students of SMK TI Pembangunan Cimahi through the use of peer editing. It is expected that peer editing can be used to improve the students’ writing skill in recount text in SMK TI Pembangunan Cimahi. This research was an action research study that consisted of two cycles. In doing the research, the researcher involved 33 students of Class XI as the respondent of the research. The data was collected by observation and writing test. The result of this research indicated that peer editing improve student writing skill from cycle to cyle. It means peer editing technique can improve students writing skill.The researcher also found that peer editing was appropriate technique for students grade XI in SMK TI Pembangunan Cimahi. Beside of learning writing it self, by using this technique student also learnt how to be cooperative in pair, because peer editing was done by pairing. The students’ writing ability in recount text improved in two cycles from 52 in cycle 1 then improved to 72 in cycle 2. The improvements of this study were particularly in students’ writing on generic structure and language features of recount text.Keywords: peer editing, writing, vocational high school

Abstract

Tonny Furniture sebagai perusahaan yang memiliki kecenderungan orientasi pada laba, selalu membutuhkan sistem yang terkomputerisasi dalam mengumpulkan, menyimpan dan memproses data untuk menghasilkan informasi yang dapat membantu perusahaan dalam melakukan perencanaan strategi dan pengambilan suatu keputusan yang tepat. Tanpa adanya sistem yang terkomputerisasi, perusahaan akan menghadapi kendala untuk mendapatkan informasi yang tepat dan akurat. Hal itu dapat disebabkan oleh proses pengumpulan dan pengolahan data masih dilakukan secara manual. Dengan bantuan sistem yang terkomputerisasi pula informasi dapat dikelola dengan baik, sehingga dapat menciptakan keakuratan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat sistem pencarian furniture dengan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) pada Tonny Furniture Sukoharjo. Dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), dimana masing-masing kriteria dan alternatif dalam hal ini furniture dibandingkan satu dengan yang lainnya sehingga memberikan output nilai intensitas prioritas yang menghasilkan suatu sistem yang memberikan hasil terhadap setiap furniture. Sistem pendukung keputusan ini membantu melakukan pencarian furniture, melakukan perubahan kriteria dalam pencarian furniture terdiri dari jenis, bahan, finishing dan warna, dan perubahan nilai bobot. Hal ini berguna untuk memudahkan pengambil keputusan yang terkait dengan masalah pencarian furniture. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi kesalahan dalam pengolahan data furniture sehingga memperoleh informasi yang akurat dan dapat memperlancar jalannya proses pencarian dan penjualan furniture sehingga proses kinerja akan lebih cepat dan tepat. Metode perancangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan yaitu analisa sistem yang berjalan, desain sistem, desain database, dan implementasi sistem. Laporan yang dihasilkan pada proses pencarian furniture sebagai sistem pendukung keputusan oleh pimpinan Tonny Furniture meliputi laporan data bahan, laporan data jenis, laporan data finishing, laporan data warna, laporan data furniture dan laporan pencarian furniture. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah Visual Basic 6.0. Perangkat lunak yang mendukung dalam pembuatan aplikasi adalah Crystal Reports dan SQL Server. Abstract

Trust or self-confidence (self-efficacy) plays an important role in the lives of students, as the main driver in improving self-quality. In this case there is a negative influence that can have a negative impact on a student's self-efficacy. The negative influence that can occur on a student's self-efficacy can be seen from the percentage of questionnaires administered with a descriptive qualitative analysis method. The subjects in this study were students majoring in pharmacy at the Har-kausyar Health Vocational School. The purpose of this study was to determine the negative effect of self-efficacy on students majoring in pharmacy at the Har-kausyar Health Vocational School. The results of the study show that there are several factors that can influence self-efficacy with a high percentage. This research is aimed at negative influences that can affect self-efficacy which differs from previous studies. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were several factors that greatly influenced self-efficacy with a high percentage of self-concept and self-emotional variables.
