Abstract

This research aimed to find out the correlation between school culture and the establishment of effective school in elementary school. The type of this research was descriptive quantitative, reviewed from empirical research step included in the research using associative approach. The population of this research were the 9 elementary school with 169 teachers. The samples used in this research were 4 elementary school at Labuhan Ratu Bandar Lampung with 75 teachers. Sample interpretation techniques were cluster sampling and simple random sampling. The data was taken for two variables using questionnaire. Data analysis technique used was t-test. The result of this research showed that there were the positive correlation between school culture and the establishment of effective school that showed by 0.788 coeffisien correlation with 5.269 the score of t count.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan budaya sekolah dan pembentukan sekolah efektif di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif, ditinjau dari tingkat eksplanasi termasuk pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 9 SD Negeri sebanyak 169 guru. Sampel yang digunakan 4 SD Negeri Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu Bandar Lampung sebanyak 75 guru dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu cluster sampling dan simple random sampling. Data yang diambil untuk kedua variabel menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif antara budaya sekolah dan pembentukan sekolah efektif ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,788 dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 5,269.Kata kunci: budaya sekolah, sekolah efektif, sekolah dasar
