The background of this research was the low results of social education in IV class of elementary school 1 Purwodadi. The purpose of this research was to enhance the student achievement of social lesson in IV class of elementary school 1 Purwodadi by implementing cooperative learning model time token type. Type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data were obtained through non-test as well as test techniques using the observation sheet and questions test. The data were analyzed by using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The result of this research showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model time token type in learning social education lesson able to enhance students learning result.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Purwodadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Purwodadi melalui model cooperative learning tipe time token. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Tiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui teknik non tes dan tes dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan cooperative learning tipe time token pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: cooperative learning, time token, hasil belajar, IPS.
