Abstract

The purpose of this research was to increase the activity and students achievement of mathematics in IV grade of SD Negeri 1 Jurang Ubung by implementing active learning model card sort type. Type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycles were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were obtained through non-test and test techniques by using the observation sheet and questions test. Data were analyzed by using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The result of this research showed that the implementation of active learning model card sort type in mathematics learning will increase students activities and students learning result.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Jurang Ubung melalui model active learning tipe card sort. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Tiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui teknik non tes dan tes dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model active learning tipe card sort pada pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, matematika, active learning, card sort.
