Abstract

This study was conducted to improve students learning activity and learning result by using Think Talk Write. The method that used in this research was classroom action research, it was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting. The data were collected by non test and test technique. Data collecting technique in this study were observation sheet and instrument test. The researcher used qualitative and quantitative technique in analizing the data. The result of study showed that the aplication of the cooperative learning model of course review horay type can improve students learning result and activity. The average score for cycle I showed in Active chategory with 66,00 and for cycle II got Active with 74,00, it improved to 8. The average score for cycle I was 67,98 with Good chategory and for cycle II becomes 72,12 with Good chategory.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe course review horay. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non tes dan tes. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data mengunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe course review horay dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Nilai rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I menunjukkan kategori Aktif dengan nilai 66,00 dan siklus II memperoleh kategori Aktif dengan nilai 74,00, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 8. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa siklus I adalah 67,98 dengan kategori Baik, siklus II meningkat menjadi 72,12 dengan kategori Baik.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, cooperative learning, hasil belajar, course review horay.
