<![CDATA[The aim of this research was to describe the use of library as a learning resources at SD N 5 Jatimulyo. This research focused on: (1) the learners’ activities, (2) the educators’ activities, (3) the effort of the educator motivating the learner, (4) the schools’ effort, (5) the schools’ obstacles, and (6) the effort of the school increasing the infrastructure of the library. The method of the research is qualitative approach. The result showed that: the learners’ activity is reading books; the educators’ activity is borrowing books; the educator motivated the learner by using a book; the schools’ effort are the infrastructure, the room, the services, the administration and the project of the library; the obstacles of the school were the librarys facility: no AC and narrow room; the schools’ effort in fulfilling the library supplies and infrastructure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar di SD Negeri 5 Jatimulyo, dengan sub fokus penelitian (1) aktivitas peserta didik, (2) aktivitas pendidik, (3) usaha pendidik memotivasi peserta didik, (4) upaya sekolah, (5) kendala sekolah, dan (6) upaya sekolah memenuhi kebutuhan perpustakaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian: aktivitas peserta didik membaca buku; aktivitas pendidik meminjam buku; pendidik memotivasi peserta didik dengan buku; upaya sekolah yaitu sarana dan prasarana, ruangan, pelayanan, administrasi, dan program kerja perpustakaan; kendala sekolah yaitu belum adanya AC dan ruangan perpustakaan kurang luas; upaya sekolah memenuhi kebutuhan perpustakaan dengan penyediaan sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan.
