Problem in this research was the lack of IPS learning outcome in grade V Elementary School Berundung South Lampung. This research aims to know the influence of usage cooperative learning model talking stick type towards IPS learning outcomes. Thisresearch was experimental research with nonequivalent control group desain which was quasi experimental research method. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with total samples were 26 students. The data collection technique used test. The data analysis technique used polled varians t test. The results of data analysis was tcount ttable, that H0 rejected and Ha accepted which means there is an influence of usage cooperative learning model of talking sticks type towards IPS.Masalah dalam penelitian ini masih rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri Berundung Lampung Selatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model cooperative learning tipe talking stickterhadap hasil belajar IPS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan nonequivalent control group desainyang merupakan bentuk metode penelitian eksperimen semu.Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 26 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t polled varians. Hasil analisis data yaitu thitung ttabel, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti ada pengaruh penggunaan model cooperative learning tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar IPS.Kata kunci: hasil belajar IPS, model cooperative learning, talking stick.
