Abstract

The learning results of five grade students' in mathematics learning, at SD Negeri 1 of Rajabasa Raya Bandar Lampung in 2015/2016 was in the low category. This research was a quasi-experimental research. The purpose of the research was to find out the influence of inquiry method in learning process. The population of this research were two classes which are VB and VC class, each class consists of 40 students. Data collecting in this research was by conducting observation and test. The result of this research showed that the use of inquiry method could increase the students learning process especially in mathematics. Based on the result of this research the mean score of the learning result in experiment class was 80.66 is better than the control class which was 60.00. The analysis result of student T-Test revealed that t count = 8793 t table = 2.026, thus there is a significant difference between experiment class and control class. In conclusion, there is an effect of implementing inquiry method to the learning result of five grade students.Hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Rajabasa Raya Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 dalam kategori rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V sebanyak 120 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VB dan VC dengan jumlah 80 siswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes. Hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol, yaitu rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen 80,66 dan kelas kontrol 60,00, kemudian hasil analisis Student T Test menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung= 8.793 ttabel= 2,026. Dengan demikian kesimpulannya adalah terdapat pengaruh penerapan metode inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, matematika, metode inkuiri.
