The problem of this study is the low learning outcomes of Social studies student a fifth grader of SD Negeri 4 North Metro. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant effect of the application of cooperative model of scramble type to the results of learning Social studies a fifth grader of SD Negeri 4 North Metro. This study used an experimental approach with no equivalent control group design. The research instrument used a test question. The Data analysis technique used statistical test of t-test sparated variance. The result of hypothesis test usingformula t-test separated variance obtained tcount 2,381, while ttable equal to 2,021. The comparison shows (2,381 2,021) that means Ha was accepted. The result showed a positive and significant influence on the application of cooperative learning model scramble type on the results of learning Social Studies a fifth grader of SD Negeri 4 North Metro. Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Metro Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Metro Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain penelitian none equivalent control group design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-test sparated varians. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus t-test separated varians diperoleh data thitung sebesar 2,381, sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,021. Perbandingan tersebut menunjukkan (2,381 2,021) berarti Ha diterima. Berarti Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Metro Utara.
