Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the influence of the ice breaker learning method games types to the result of thematic learning student of fifth grade at SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. The types of the research was experimental research. The design of the research used quasi experimental design. The data collection technique used cognitive tests. The data analysis techniques used the pooled variance t-test statistical test. The learning results of this research used the result of cognitive learning. Determination of research samples used purposive sampling. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the ice breaker learning method games types to the result of thematic learning student of fifth grade at SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat with tcount ttable that is 2.6702,000 (with α = 0.05).Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran ice breaker jenis games terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental design. Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan tes kognitif. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-test pooled varians. Hasil belajar dalam penelitian ini menggunakan hasil belajar ranah kognitif. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan sampling purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada metode pembelajaran ice breaker jenis games terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat dengan thitung ttabel yaitu 2,670 2,000 (dengan α = 0,05). Kata kunci: hasil belajar, ice breaker, tematik.
