Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of civic education result of grade V SD Negeri 3 Metro Center. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of problem based learning to learning outcomes of students. The type of the research was experiment research. The design used in this research was quasi experimental design. Population research is all of students V grade, the sample consists 50 students. The data were collected by using questionnaire to measure the effectiveness of effect of problem based learning model, and multiple choice test to measure student learning outcomes. Hypothesis testing results using the test-test formula obtained tcount ttable means Ha accepted. This means that there is influence of the implementation of the model of prolem based learning on the results of learning Civics students of class V SD Negeri 3 Metro Center. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Metro Pusat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar PKn. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V, sampel terdiri dari 50 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket untuk mengukur efektivitas pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning, dan soal tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji-test diperoleh nilai thitung ttabel berarti Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh penerapan model prolem based learning terhadap hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Metro Pusat.Kata kunci: problem based learning, hasil belajar.
