Abstract

This research is intended to develop learning media, determine the feasibility, and assess the trial of PowerPoint based on mind mapping as a learning media to the students. This research and development uses Luther's Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model. In data collection, this research uses observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The assessment of learning media feasibility involves content experts, media experts, and 23 respondents or students of class XI IPS B at SMA Islam Terpadu Granada Samarinda. Qualitative and quantitative data analyses are conducted. The results of this development research are: (1) the usage of Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model through the stages of conceptualizing, designing, content collecting, assembling, testing, and distributing. (2) The validation result on PowerPoint based on mind mapping as a learning media by content expert is in the “very feasible” criteria with 4.73 average score in all aspects. The media expert's assessment is in the criteria of "very feasible" with 4.60 average score. In the trial to the students or respondents, the result is included in "feasible" criteria with 3.77 average score.Keywords: learning media, mind mapping, PowerPoint

Abstract

Terbatasnya sumber energi fosil menuntut upaya pencarian sumber  energi lain khususnya yang bersifat baru dan terbarukan. Salah satu sumber energi yang layak untuk diperhitungkan adalah biogas yang berasal dari sampah padat. Teknik pengolahan sampah padat melalui anaerobik digester dapat dipergunakan untuk menghasilkan sumber energi baru seperti biogas disamping dapat membantu penanganan masalah penumpukan sampah kota.  Dalam penelitian ini digunakan 4 buah digester untuk memproduksi biogas dari sampah organik dengan menggunakan starter dari air lindi dimana selang masa awal produksi dibuat beda 14 hari antara satu digester dengan digester berikutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masa produksi biogas dengan kandungan gas metana diatas 10 % dihasilkan rata-rata selama 10 hari yaitu hari ke 20 sampai hari ke 30. Untuk itu selang waktu awal produksi hendaknya dibuat 10 hari agar produksi biogas dapat bersifat kontinyu.

Abstract

Indonesian small and medium industries (UKM) have the ability to produce relatively cheap truck/bus brake drums, but the quality is needed to be improved. The drums usually fail in form of cracks or fractures before the design life is reached. This paper presents failure identification of the UKM's brake drums that is including material aspects, operational loading, and stress analysis. The mechanical and physical properties of the materials are studied by conducting tensile test, hardness test, chemical composition, and metallography. Fractography is also conducted to study the type and process of the failures. The brake loads are analyzed for various operational conditions such as straight, curved, and downhill path, with various value of decceleration. Stress analysis of the drum due to the applied loads is conducted using finite element method. The complete analysis shows that the UKM's drums are not strong enough for the applied braking load. It is also observed that the crack locations are in agreement with the highly computed stressed areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of making tofu products at UD Sari Makmur in Wakobaloagung Village, Kabangka District, Muna Regency. The data was collected using literature study, interviews, observation, and documentation methods. The comparative method analysis results still show that UD Sari Makmur is the producer of tofu, and the main staple is soybeans, where tofu is one of the staple food ingredients in Indonesia. Tofu is also a food that contains many nutrients and is relatively easy to produce. UD Sari Makmur is included in the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) category. The method of making tofu is still simple. Namely, preparation, soaking and washing, grinding, cooking, filtering, printing, cutting, and ready to be marketed. So that the role of the individual, in this case, the worker, is enormous in the tofu production process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) how much profit is earned and (2) the business location of the food stall based on the type of food produced at the Warung Makan at the Sanggam Adji Dilayas Market, Berau Regency. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. This study uses data collection in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that the Grilled Fish food group had the highest level of profit among other food groups, which was Rp. 36,220,549 per month, and the Soto food group has a level of excellence among other food groups, which is Rp. 5,289,676 per month, and located right by food group, and Ikan Bakar has the highest ratio of other food groups, which is 2.0 and Nasi Campur has the smallest ratio among other groups, which is 1.2. So the conclusion of this study is that of the seven food groups selected, each has an interest and is in accordance with the selected group, according to the food group produced or sold by each food group that is appropriate and in accordance with their respective needs. to run and develop         Keywords: Reception, Production Cost, Profit, Business Feasibility

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Promotional Costs and Distribution Costs on Sales Volume of PT. Martina Berto for the period 2011 – 2020. The data used in this study is secondary data that can be accessed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website. Based on the results of the t-test on the variable cost of promotion obtained a significance value of 0.018, this value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05, which means that the variable Promotional Costs has a partial effect on the Sales Volume of PT. Martina Berto for the period 2011 - 2020, and the significance value obtained by the Distribution Cost variable is 0.222 where this value is greater than the significance level of 0.05, so the distribution cost variable does not partially affect the sales volume of PT. Martina Berto for the 2011-2020 period. Based on the results of the F test obtained the value of Sig. of 0.038 <0.05, it can be concluded that Promotional Costs and Distribution Costs have a simultaneous effect on the Sales Volume of PT. Martina Berto for the period 2011 - 2020. The conclusion of this study is that promotional costs have a partial effect on sales volume while distribution costs have no significant effect. partial to sales volume. Promotion costs and distribution costs simultaneously affect the sales volume of PT. Martina Berto. Abstract

The economy in Indonesia is very diverse, there are many things that can help the community’s economy. One of them is from the industrial sector which plays a role in supporting the national community’s economy to design simple and affordable tools for MSMEs through this final project. Nationally, UMKM have an important role in improving the nation’s economy because they are labor-intensive businesses that require a lot of labor. The micro, small, medium enterprises UMKM group involves many business groups as a reinforcement in avoiding the economic crisis. Residents in Indonesia definitely use pillows for comfort in a comfortable sleep and can improve the quality of stable sleep to carry out daily activities. The solution to this problem is to make innovative updates so that they are not monotonous. Manual human resources cause a lot of time and production is less rapid and requires machines to speed up and save energy. Design and build this simple pillow filling machine that can be operated directly by the general public who can produce one pillow with a size of 60 cm x 50 cm with a time of 2.31 minutes/pillow and can get 200 pillows/day, 1.200 pillows/week, 5.200 pillows/month, 62.400 pillows/year with normal work 8 hours of work. The need for dakron silicon materials for production needs so that the budget plan issued is managed which is 66.66 kg/day, 400 kg/week, 1.733 quintals/month, and 20.800 quintals/year.
