Abstract

The objective of this paper is of twofold. First, it analyzes the disparity distribution of percapitaincome among regions in East Java Province. Second, it analyzes the correlation beetwen economicgrowth and disparity distribution of percapita income among regions in East Java Province. It usesWilliamson disparity index and Pearson correlation to analyze the data. In the period of 2001-2007,the disparity index shows that distribution of percapita income among regions in East Java Provinceis getting unbalanced and the correlation beetwen economic growth and disparity distributionof percapita income among regions in East Java Province is positive and significant.Keywords: Income per capita, disparity, economic growthJEL classification numbers: O16, O18, O49

Abstract

Waste bricks powder is pozzolan a material which contain silica and alumina activated that could react with the Portland cement (SPI). Compounds content SiO2 + Al2O3 + Fe2O3 bricks powders from Desa Oebelo of 91%. The pozzolan materials pass quality specifications according to ASTM C618 where the amount of compounds SiO2 + Al2O3 + Fe2O3 at least 70%. This research is to use of waste brick powder as a pozzolan material in concrete mixtures. Research on the mechanical properties of concrete with brick powder (SBB) as a partial substitution on the Portland cement (SPI) has been realized using cylindrical specimens of diameter = 150 mm and height = 300mm. The specimens were made by using a proportion, by weight, of 1.0 binder: 2.0 sand: 3.0 crushed stone and water binder ratio of 0.5. The binder was made by a mixture of SPI and SBB. The percentage of SBB in the binder varied: 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% by total weight of the binder. Thegrain distribution of sand and crushed stone were designed according to SNI 03-2834-2000 to meet respectively the gradation zone 2 for fine aggregate and the granules with a maximum diameter of 20 mm for coarse aggregate. The test of concrete mechanical properties included compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and split tensile strength and realized atthe specimen’s age of 28, 56, and 90 days respectively using three specimens for each test.The test result shows that the positive reaction of brick powderas a pozzolanic material can only be noted after the hydration age of 90 days. The development of compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and split tensile strength depend on the percentage of SBB used in the binder. In fact, the use of 10%SBB in the binder produce compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and split tensile strength respectively about 97%, 94%, and 98% compared to those produced using 100% SPI. This interesting performance could be strongly related to the pozzolanic effect of SBB on the long term of hydration. Abstract

[Title: The language use by Bigesnese community at Senganan Village, Tabanan, Bali] This research is about language use by the Bugisnese community at Senganan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan as a minority ethnic group in Bali. The research discusses the use of languages among the different domains and factors causing the language shift at Senganan Village. Theory used in this research is the theory of bilingualism, the theory of language choice and the theory of language shift. The result shows that the use of Bugisness language is not found on different observed domains, such as domains family, religion, neighborhood, administration, and education. The use of Balinese and Indonesian dominated their language uses in all domains. Thus, it can be concluded that Bugisnese language is not used anymore by the community or its use has already shifted. The factors causing the shift of Bugisnese language at the village is internally related to the attitude of the speakers covering unsustainable transfer of the mother tongue and the unfaithfulness to the mother tongue, and externally it deals with the factor consisting of geographic environment of the village surrounded by villages of which people mostly speak Balinese language.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peranan perempuan Bali Hindu dalam pendidikan karakter anak. Objeknya adalah lagu Putri Cening Ayu (anonim). Tulisan ini tergolong dalam penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan menjelajah di dunia maya/internet untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai lagu Putri Cening Ayu kemudian dibaca dan dicatat dengan cermat dengan teliti. Data dianalisis dengan pembacaan heuristik dan metode hermeniutika atau retroaktif, serta verstehen. Pembacaan heuristik berdasarkan konvensi sistem semiotik tingkat pertama. Pembacaan hermeneutik dan verstehen adalah pembacaan berdasarkan sistem konvensi semiotik tingkat kedua atau berdasarkan konvensi sastra. Hasil penelitian disajikan secara deskriptif dengan teknik induktif-deduktif.

Abstract

The low learning ability of students in determining the intrinsic elements of fantasy stories so far is influenced by the not yet optimal implementation of learning to determine the intrinsic elements of fantasy stories. In addition, teachers have not optimally used learning methods in improving students' abilities in determining the intrinsic elements of fantasy stories. The problem in this research is how the students' abilities before and after applying the inquiry method and how much the increase. The purpose of this research is to solve the problem as stated above. This research is a classroom action consisting of two cycles with 32 students. Data collection methods used, namely the observation method and the test method. Observation method used the ability to determine the intrinsic elements of fantasy stories. The results showed that the ability to determine the intrinsic elements of fantasy stories of class VII A students of State Junior High School 3 Tabanan in the 2021/2022 academic year after applying the inquiry method had increased. This can be seen in the students' completeness in the pre-cycle with an average score of 64.38, in the first cycle the class average value of 70.32. Then in the second cycle it increased again with an average value of 82.31 students, all students have completed 100%. The increase in the score is a sign that the ability to determine the intrinsic elements of fantasy stories for Class VII A State Junior High School 3 Tabanan for the 2021/2022 academic year is getting better after applying the inquiry method in learning activities because it has been proven that the application of the inquiry method can improve students' abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan pemerolehan bahasa anak usia 2 tahun 2 bulan dari aspek fonologi yang meliputi pemerolehan vokal, pemerolehan konsonan, dan faktor yang mempengaruhi pemerolehan fonologi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data diperoleh dari seorang anak yang bernama MAP. Data artikel ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, catatan harian, dan wawancara. Temuan dalam artikel ini memperlihatkan bahwa MAP telah menguasai fonem [a], [i], [u], [e], [o], [∂], [є], dan [Ο]. Fonem vokal itu dikuasainya pada usia 2 tahun 2 bulan. Vokal pertama yang dikuasainya adalah vokal [a], [i], dan [u], kemudian vokal depan [i], [e], [ε], lalu vokal belakang [u], [o], [כ[, dan vokal tengah [∂],[a]. Sementara itu, konsonan [p], [b], [t], [d], [g], [s], [h], [c], [j], [m], [n], [ŋ], [l], [w], dan [y] dikuasainya dengan baik. Konsonan [t], [s], [c], [j], dan [ŋ] sudah muncul, tetapi masih berfluktuasi dengan bunyi lain. Bunyi hambat velar [k] belum diucapkan secara tepat. Bunyi [k] baru dikuasai jika terletak pada akhir kata. Bunyi frikatif [f] dan [v] dan bunyi getar [r] belum muncul dan dikuasainya. MAP melakukan pola substitusi untuk mengucapkan fonem-fonem yang belum dikuasainya, seperti fonem [f], [v], [z], dan [x]. Munculnya berbagai variasi dalam pemerolehan fonologi MAP sebagian besar disebabkan oleh belum sempurnanya alat ucap MAP. Penelitian masih terbuka untuk penelitian pemerolehan fonologi lebih lanjut karena pemerolehan bahasa MAP belum mencapai puncak. Namun dapat juga meneliti pemerolehan bahasa pada aspek bahasa lainnya.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that the ability to write report texts for class VIII B students of Tabanan 3 Public Junior High School for the 2022-2023 academic year is still below the minimum completeness criterion standard (KKM), which is 70.00. The score for the ability to write the text of the previous class VIII B observation report was 55.67%. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to write texts based on observations about the beauty of the pages of Tabanan 3 Public Junior High School using the jigsaw method. This research is classified as classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles. The method used in collecting data is the observation method and the test method to measure the ability to write the observed text. The data obtained were analyzed by finding the average value score The results of the pre-cycle analysis obtained an average value of 55.67% while the average value of the first cycle obtained 68.67%. The percentage increase from pre-cycle to cycle I was 23.35%. In cycle II the average value obtained was 81.33%. The percentage increase from cycle I to cycle II was 18.44%.Thus, all 32 students in class VIII B of Tabanan 3 Public Junior High School were declared complete. In connection with the above it is suggested to Indonesian teachers in the teaching and learning process to use the jigsaw method, because with this method students' abilities have increased
