Abstract

Character is a character (behavior) or character (disposition)  inherent in a person. In its formation, many character influenced by environmental factors, namely habits in SMAN 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar many students who point to bad characters such as lack of respect for the teacher, indifference, ditching and smoking, this the consequences and lack of supervision of student habits. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the application of group guiding services can influence the formation of student character. This study uses quantitative techniques with an experimental approach using One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The population of this study is 41 students of social sciences class XI and the sample of this study is 5 students who are selected through the purposive side by categorizing students with low character levels. Data was collected through a Likert scale. Instrument analysis includes validity and reliability analysis. Data analysis using SPSS 20 and t-test. The results of this study is indicate a change in the value of student character scale with an average value of 664 post-test, compared with an average score of 574 pre-test. Based on paired sample test analysis, it is known that there are differences before and after the provision of group guidance services to the character of students in SMAN 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar, with data t count> t table (13.059> 2.131) or Sig <0.00 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that group guidance services provided as a treatment for changing student character have a positive effect.

Abstract

The guidance and counseling program is going well so evaluation is needed. The implementation of the guidance and counseling program evaluation at SMAN 1 Arongan Lambalek aims to see the progress and obstacles experienced in the implementation of counseling programs such as the lack of additional knowledge obtained by guidance and counseling teachers from year to year, such as training, seminars and so on, and availability rooms that are not ideal so that when doing archives on the archive guidance and counseling activities are quickly broken. Because the assessment at the school level is the responsibility of the principal who is assisted by special counselors and other personnel. In addition, assessment of guidance and counseling activities is also carried out by authorized officials (Supervising guidance and counseling) from higher institutions (City / Regency education department.

Abstract

Discipline is a student's behavior that is formed through the process of a set of habits that show the values of obedience, obedience, order and order based on norm values. Students who have discipline will show obedience and regularity to their role as a student, namely students in a directed and orderly manner. This research was conducted at Ibnu Khaldun Islamic Middle School in Banda Aceh against the background of the problem of lack of students in managing time, because Ibnu Khaldun Islamic Middle School is a boarding school (dayah), therefore almost all students experience personal problems, especially on discipline. This study aims to determine self-management techniques before and after effective group guidance services are provided to improve student discipline in Ibnu Khaldun Islamic Middle School Banda Aceh. Researchers use quantitative methods and use the type of pre-experimental research (pre-experimental) with One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Data collection used is a Likert scale. Analysis techniques using the normality test and t-test. The population in this study were grade VII students of Ibnu Khaldun Islamic Middle School in Banda Aceh. There are 61 students with high, medium and low discipline, while the sample is 7 students representing class VII. The sample is chosen through purposive sampling with the categorization of students with the lowest level of discipline. From the results of this study it can be concluded that, the results of the study show effective self management techniques to improve the discipline of students in grade VII in Ibnu Khaldun Islamic Middle School Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Certification is the process of giving educator certificates to teachers who already have academic qualifications, competencies, physically and mentally healthy, and have the ability to realize national education goals. Educator certificates are formal proof as the recognition given to teachers as professionals. This study examines whether there is an influence of educator certificates on the personality competencies of vocational school teachers in West Aceh Regency. This quantitative research seeks to find out whether or not there is an influence of teacher certificates on the personality competence of teachers in vocational schools in West Aceh Regency. The population in this study were certified teachers at vocational high schools in Aceh Barat District. Samples were done by random technique, each school was taken as 10 people as their representatives. Namely 5 teacher certification and 5 non-certification. The results showed a significant influence between teacher certificates with the personal competence of vocational school teachers in the West Aceh Regency. This can be seen in the hypothesis test that teacher certification has a significant effect on teacher personality competencies in vocational schools in West Aceh Regency.

Abstract

Character can be interpreted as character, character, psychological traits, morals or character that distinguishes one person from another. One of the works of Imam Nawawi ra. is the Book of Riyadhus Shalihin which is a very famous book in the Islamic world. This book has been used as a guide for years among scholars, students and students of religious knowledge in parts of the Islamic world. The contents of the work of Imam Nawawi ra. This is able to organize and grow the strength of a big soul in someone in worshiping Allah SWT, the creator of the universe, because worshiping Allah SWT can lead a person to goodness and happiness. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of character education according to Imam Nawawi ra. within the Madrasah Aliyah environment in Aceh. This study uses a qualitative method. This research was conducted by collecting the necessary library data, especially the essay of Imam Nawawi ra. Data collection also uses observations and interviews with the community in the Madrasah Aliyah environment in Aceh to obtain character education application data according to Imam Nawawi ra. The results showed that the values of character education according to Imam Nawawi ra. related to Commandments, related to Warnings and related to Instructions and character with Allah and with Creatures. For the community in the Madrasah Aliyah environment in Aceh, they have applied character education that has been formulated by Imam Nawawi ra.as the regulations that apply in the Madrasah environment

Abstract

Learning motivation is a psychological condition that encourages someone to do something that will cause changes in human activity. A person's learning motivation is influenced by two factors, namely intrinsic factors which include physiological (physical condition) and psychological (attitudes, talents, interests, intelligence, and cognitive abilities). While the second factor is extrinsic factors which include the environment (natural and social), parental attention, curriculum, teachers, learning facilities, teaching methods, and administration. This research was conducted at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh, this study aims to determine the differences in learning motivation between students in special and regular classes. This study is a comparative study, the population in this study were all students of MTsN 4 Banda Aceh as many as 565 students, the sample in this study was 168 students who were determined by simple random sampling technique consisting of 84 special class students and 84 regular class students. The data collection technique was carried out using a Likert scale, data analysis was carried out by using the t test (Independent Sample T-Test). The results showed that there was a difference in learning motivation between special class students and regular class students as indicated by the tcount coefficient of 1,983 which was greater than ttable of 1,974 (1,983>1,974) and the significance value of 0.000 was smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0, 05). So the result is that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in learning motivation between students in the special class and the regular class.

Abstract

Moral is a trait contained in the individual in actions that have positive and negative values carried out by humans. Moral improvement should be owned by every individual. However, what happened at MTsN 4 Aceh Besar was that there were several students who had bad morals in the school environment, such as labeling the teacher's name with another name, not respecting peers by body shaming against their friends and liking to mock friends' names using their parents' names. Therefore the research aims to determine the increase in student morality by applying modeling techniques through group guidance at MTSN 4 Aceh Besar. The research method uses a quantitative approach in the form of a one group pre-test-post-test design through two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The population in the study were 210 students in class VIII at MTsN 4 Aceh Besar and the sample in the experimental and control classes consisted of 8 students selected through a purposive sampling technique. Samples were taken based on the moral characteristics of students in class VIII-B and VIII-F, often displaying attitudes and behavior such as lack of respect for teachers, disrespect for friends, labeling the names of teachers and friends with other names, and never staying in class when PBM. Data collection techniques using student morality questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the t test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that there was an increase in student morality before and after being given group guidance services using modeling techniques. This is also proven by the results of the paired samples test (11,160> 1,761) it can be concluded that the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang salah satu perilaku negatif yang ditunjukkan remaja, yaitu perilaku agresif. Perilaku Agresif adalah suatu tindakan yang dilakukan secara sengaja pada individu lain sehingga mengakibatkan sakit fisik dan psikis pada individu lain. Bentuk perilaku agresif di kalangan remaja terdiri atas perilaku agresif fisik dan perilaku agresif verbal. Perilaku agresif fisik yang dominan adalah memukul dan melempar. Perilaku  agresif verbal umumnya berupa membantah, mengejek, dan mengucap kata-kata kasar. Sungguh pun demikian perilaku agresif yang umum terjadi adalah perilaku agresif verbal. Pemicu munculnya perilaku agresif di kalangan remaja secara internal adalah keyakinan normatif, amarah dan frustrasi. Sedangkan perilaku agresif secara eksternal dipicu oleh adanya provokasi dari orang lain, adanya kelompok geng sesama teman sebaya, orang tua yang bersikap keras dalam memecahkan suatu permasalahan, dan kurangnya komunikasi antara siswa dengan orang tua, serta guru. Sehingga memberi peluang yang sangat besar untuk siswa melakukan tindakan agresif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Artikel ini membahas tentang factor-faktor yang menyebabkan Stres akademik pada siswa remaja. Stress Akademik merupakan suatu keadaan individu di mana mendapat terlalu banyak tekanan dan tuntutan sehingga tidak mampu mengelola tugas akademik dengan baik. Stres akademik termasuk pada kategori distress, yaitu stres yang bersifat merusak dan dapat menyebabkan individu merasa tidak berdaya, frustasi dan, kecewa. Stres memiliki risiko terhadap tugas akademik ketika frekuensi terjadinya sangat sering dan dikelola dengan cara yang salah. Indiktor stres yang dialami oleh siswa remaja terlihat dari fisik yang mudah lelah, sering sakit kepala, tubuh tidak mampu beristirahat dengan maksimal, sulit berkonsentrasi, malas belajar, tidak semangat, sering menggerutu dan menyalahkan orang lain dan melakukan berbagai kegiatan yang tidak baik lainnya seperti: membolos, berkelahi, berbohong. Mekanisme pelepasan stres yang dilakukan oleh remaja sering kali bersifat merugikan terhadap dirinya ataupun orang lain. Dengan begitu besar dampak yang disebabkan oleh stress terhadap tugas akademik maka perlu untuk dikenali factor yang menjadi penyebab stress akademik yang dialami siswa remaja.

Abstract

Media is a tool to delivery messages and can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, and willingness of the audience (students) so that it can encourage them to study. The use of media creatively enables students to learn better and to develop understanding of learning. In the world of education, the success of students in the teaching and learning process is greatly influenced by the media used by the teacher. In this case, interactive media with the Powtoon application is an alternative for teachers in the teaching and learning process, especially in the learning process for students with mild mental retardation. The purpose of this study was to find out whether interactive media learning with the powtoon application could improve students' understanding of mild mental retardation. This class action research had 4 mild mentally retarded students as research subjects. The individual KKM that has been set is 75 and for learning completeness is 80%. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and tests. From the results of teacher activities in cycle I and cycle II, the increase in student understanding results can be seen from the analysis of student tests in the implementation of cycle I learning before using interactive learning media, namely obtaining a score of 52.5% in the "Good enough" category. In cycle II by using interactive learning media students' understanding was increased compared to cycle I, the value obtained in the implementation of learning cycle II by using interactive learning media was 82.5% in the "Very Good" category. So it can be concluded that interactive media learning strategies with the powtoon application can improve students' understanding of mild mental retardation.
