Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of work from home on employees job performance taken from the respondents. This analysis using independent variables WFH (work from home), work environment, job satisfaction, and work motivation. The dependent variable is job performance. Samples in this study were the college students who ever or currently working with working from home system in Batam city. This study used a sample method of Stratified Disproportionate Random Sampling with total sample of 150 respondents. This is a quantitative study that distributes data and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study was analyzed using regression using SPSS software. The three supporting factors, work environment, job satisfaction, and job motivation affect the job performance in Batam city. This study proves that work motivation and job satisfaction have positive influence on job performance. From the result, we hope this research can be useful as knowledge and consideration for government or company whether need to continue the implementation of work from home system or not.

Abstract

SMKS Globe National Plus 2 adalah salah satu satuan pendidikan dengan jenjang SMK yang didirikan pada tahun 2017, sekolah tersebut masih tidak memiliki sistem manajemen sekolah. Aktivitas sekolah yang berkaitan dengan siswa, guru, dan karyawan sekolah masih dilakukan secara manual, dimana dalam penerapannya hal ini dapat menjadi kendala diantaranya keefektifan dan efisiensi waktu, bentuk laporan masih berupa hardcopy yang dapat menyebabkan kesusahan dalam pencarian data, dan memungkinkan data penting akan hilang. Metodologi yang kami terapkan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian terapan dengan tujuan memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh SMKS Globe National Plus 2 Batam pada era digital ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sebuah sistem manajemen sekolah.

Abstract

SMKS Globe National Plus 2 is one of the educational units with a SMK level that was established in 2017, the school still does not have a school management system. School activities related to students, teachers, and school employees are still carried out manually, where in its application this can be an obstacle including time effectiveness and efficiency, the report form is still in the form of hardcopy which can cause difficulties in finding data, and allows important data to be lost. . The methodology we apply in this research is applied research with the aim of solving the problems faced by SMKS Globe National Plus 2 Batam in this digital era. The result of this research is a school management system.

Abstract

This research is a design research which aims to produce a smart trash bin using Arduino Uno with a microcontroller design system. This research consists of two stages, namely hardware design and continued with software design using the C language which consists of making the main program and the controlling program and the data obtained will later be uploaded via the Arduino IDE. The method in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The results of this research itself is a prototype of a smart trash can design that provides notifications via the website. The trials carried out on this smart trash bin were in the form of testing supporting components, namely ultrasonic/distance sensors and testing the system as a whole. The results of this trial function properly as evidenced by the ability of the system to provide notification that the trash can is full through the website.
