Abstract

This study aims to improve the character of friendliness among the students through class guidance services using the experiential learning approach and measure the effectiveness of class guidance services using the experiential learning approach in students? perspective.This research is a Guidance and Counseling action research  completed in three cycles. The subjects of this study involved 30 students of class VII B of SMP Aloysius Turi academic year 2016/2017. The instrument of this research was  Friendliness Character Test, Self Assesment Scale of Friendly Character, validation scale of the effectiveness of the model in the students? perspective. The realibility coefficient of the friendly character test was considered very high (0.885) and self assesment scale for friendship character was categorized as very high (0.950) measured from the Cronbach?s alpha. The technique for data analysis used the category for score items, one group pretest-posttest, and paired sample t-test. The result shows that there was a significant development of friendly character before and after the treatment and this model is effective to develop the students? friendly character.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the self-leading ability of the future Guidance and Counselling teachers at Sanata Dharma University (USD) Yogyakarta and examine whose self-leadership ability is better, the male-students or the female-students. The subjects of this study were 210 students of study program of Guidance and Counselling USD 2020/2021. The data collection instrument was the Student Self Leadership Ability Scale with a semantic differential model. The data analysis technique applied two methods, namely descriptive category and different test technique t test. The results showed that most of the subjects had achieved a score of self-leadership ability in the high category, but there was no significant difference in the ability of self-leadership in the male-students and the female-students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keterlaksanaan pendidikan karakter terintegrasi di SMP dan mengukur capaian hasilnya. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter terintegrasi pada lima kota di Indonesia belum menunjukkan hasil yang menggembirakan. Selain berhenti hanya pada tataran kognitif, muatan nilai-nilai karakter yang diintegrasikan ke berbagai mata pelajaran sifatnya hanya “tempelan”, sekadar ditulis di Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, tanpa eksplisitasi kongkret dalam pelaksanaan. Sebagian besar guru mata pelajaran yang dititipi muatan pendidikan karakter secara terintegrasi mengalami keterbatasan kemampuan mendeskripsikan, mengaktualisasikan, dan membumikan pelaksanaan misi itu. Pada sisi lain, kehadiran dan peran konselor yang secara khusus dibekali untuk peran transmitter pendidikan “hati” (pendidikan karakter) tidak dilibatkan sama sekali, sebagaimana tampak pada sebagian besar SMP di Indonesia tidak menyediakan jam layanan bimbingan klasikal. Gagasan penelitian ini diharapkan menginspirasi kerangka kerja ditemukannya model alternatif pendidikan karakter yang berorientasi pada terbangunnya kemitraan-kolaboratif profesional antara konselor/Guru BK dengan guru mata pelajaran dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, bimbingan klasikal, peran konselor MEASURING THE RESULT OFTHE INTEGRATED CHARACTER EDUCATION IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS Abstract: This study was aimed to evaluate the implementation of the character education in Junior High School and to measure the result. The implementation of integrated character education in Junior High School in several cities in Indonesia has not shown satisfactory result. It was only at the cognitive level. The contents of character values integrated into a variety of subjects were just like "patches". They are only written in a lesson plan, without realization in the implementation. Most of the subject teachers who are entrusted with the content of character education integrated into the learning process, had limited ability to describe, actualize, and implement the mission. On the other hand, the counsellor who was specifically equipped with the transmitter role of character education was not involved at all. This could be seen in most junior high schools in Indonesia which did not provide a classical guidance service schedule. This study is expected to inspire the finding of an alternative of the character education model oriented to professional collaborative partnership between the counsellors and teachers implementing the character education. Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen asesmen kebutuhan peserta didik, disebut Invantori Kebutuhan Perkembangan Murid (IKPM). Penelitian mengikuti model Plomp (1999) dengan lima fase. Reliabilitas instrumen diestimasi dengan teknik Alpha Cronbach, validitas isi diperiksa oleh pakar dan telaah praktisi melalui FGD. Validitas empirik dan kecocokan model pengukuran dibuktikan dengan analisis faktor konfirmatori (CFA) dengan program Lisrel 8.30. Telaah praktisi melibatkan 60 orang guru kelas V dan VI SD dalam dua tahap FGD, sedangkan uji coba empirik dan implementasi melibatkan murid kelas V dan VI. Hasil penelitian pengembang-an ini adalah: 1) IKPM dapat digunakan untuk menghimpun data kebutuhan perkembangan sebagai dasar penyusunan kurikulum bimbingan dan melaksanakan evaluasi program, bimbingan dan alat ukur evaluasi program bimbingan klasikal di sekolah dasar dan 2) teridentifikasi butir-butir kebutuhan per-kembangan murid yang intens dan sangat intens untuk dipenuhi melalui layanan bimbingan klasikal.Kata kunci: instrumen asesmen kebutuhan, kurikulum bimbingan, instrument evaluasi program BK ______________________________________________________________DEVELOPMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENT FOR CURRICULUM ARRANGEMENT AND EVALUATION OF BK PROGRAM Abstract The goal of this research is to produce a developmental needs assessment instrument, called Student’s Developmental Needs Inventory, which can be use to reveal the needs of students in elementary school. The research method follows the model of Research and Development (R D) by Plomp (1999) with five phases. The instrument which is developed in this study guidance and counseling (Bimbingan Konseling, BK) in elementary school. Instrument reliability is estimated using by Alpha Cronbach technique, it content validity is checked by experts judgment and practitioner’s assessment with FGD technique. Furthermore, empirical validity and the goodness of fit measurement model was measured with Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) through the application of Lisrel 8.30 program. However, try out of test and implementation involves students of grade five and six elementary schools. The results of this research: (1) the instrument can be used to gathering data of developmental needs as based of guidance curriculum arrangement and to conduct program evaluation in elementary school, and (2) there are several items of student’s developmental needs that needs to be fullfiled through classical guidance services.Key words: needs assessment instrument, guidance curriculum, program evaluation instrument of guidance and counseling

Abstract

This study aims to test the quality of Film-Based Creative and Innovative Character Education Test by examining the values of validity, reliability, different power, and level of difficulty. This study focuses on the Film-Based Creative and Innovative Character Education Outcomes Test using the 40 items Rasch Model. This research is a research development. Research subjects numbered 66 students in grade VII and VII of junior high school. Data analysis techniques to see the quality of test kits developed in this study using the Rasch Model with QUEST and Ministeps programs. The results showed: (1) the validity of the whole test items fit in the range of INFIT MNSQ 0.80-1.0; (2) the reliability of the test questions is very high with a value of 0.92; (3) the level of difficulty of the midterm test items (-1 to 1) according to the Rasch Model category (-2 to +2); and (4) the power of different test questions is in the good category. The conclusion of this research is that Film-Based Creative and Innovative Character Education Test Results can be used to measure the results of creative and innovative character education in schools.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to measure the gain and effectiveness of the character education model based  on classroom guidance service in several junior high schools in Indonesia. This research was designed by adopting the research and development model (Borg & Gall, 1983). The research stage began with preliminary research to construct conceptual maps for hypothetical model design that developed, supporting instrument design, and initial draft of Character Education Module for junior high school Volume 1, 2 and 3. Development episode focus on the concreteness of all model tools in the form of instruments, preparation of modules and media implementation of character education in junior high school and followed by scientific procedures — test, validation, revision, limited simulation of model usage. Limited product implementation trials were conducted on nine junior high schools nationwide across Indonesia. Implementation testing (limited) models showed encouraging results. From the analysis of the implementation of this model, there is an increase in character education outcomes between pre-and posttest on those nine junior high school, and both teachers and students in the 9 schools assessed that this model is much more effective than the integrated character education model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengulik tiga faktor pendukung percepatan penulisan skripsi: kemampuan literasi, efikasi diri, dan motivasi akademik, menemukan mana penyumbang terbesar dari ketiganya, menjajaki hubungan antara ketiga faktor tersebut dengan kecepatan penulisan skripsi, serta menguji signifikansi perbedaan ketiga faktor pada kelompok mahasiswa yang cepat dan lambat dalam penulisan skripsi. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif kategori, korelasi, dan komparasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 96 orang mahasiswa penulis skripsi pada 3 prodi: BK, PAK (Pendidikan Agama Katolik), dan PGSD JIP, FKIP USD Angkatan Tahun 2014, 2015, dan 2016. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga macam skala model Likert, yaitu Skala Kemampuan Literasi dengan indeks Alpha Cronbach α 0,75; Skala Efikasi Diri (α 0,884); dan Skala Motivasi Akademik (α 0,701). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketiga faktor tersebut saling berhubungan dan secara signifikan mendukung percepatan penulisan skripsi di kalangan mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan FKIP USD tahun akademik 2020/2021.

Abstract

The purpose of this study: (1) Describing the level of academic fighting power of students in participating in offline post online learning. (2) Identifying academic fighting power measurement items whose scores are low or not optimal in students of the Guidance and Counseling study program at Sanata Dharma University Class of 2020, who take part in offline post-online learning. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research method, by distributing questionnaires online to Guidance and Counseling students of Sanata Dhrama University class of 2020. By analyzing the level of fighting power of these students, it is hoped that it will be an input for lecturers to see obstacles and difficulties in dealing with learning during the online to offline transition. From the results of the research conducted, it shows that 2020 Sanata Dharma University Guidance and Counseling students have a high level of fighting power in participating in learning during the online to offline transition, this can be seen from the results of the categorization test of the level of fighting power which shows 64% of students have a high level of fighting power in participating in learning during the online to offline transition.
