Abstract

This present study aims at investigating the correlation between teachers’ professional competence and natural science learning achievement in elementary schools in Buleleng regency. The population in this study are all sixth grade teachers, which it is further narrowed down to 30 teachers as the sample. In order to gather the data, the researcher employs questionnaire regarding teacher professional competence and document study toward students’ achievement on national examination in academic year 2016/2017. Further, ex post facto is chosen as the design of the study. Meanwhile, the data are analysed through correlation analysis with assistance of SPSS 16 software. Based on the analysis, it was obtained that the correlation between teacher professional competence and the learning achievement on natural science subject is in the interval of 0.40-0.59 with correlation coefficient at rho=0.506. This means there is a significant correlation between teacher professional competence and students’ learning achievement on natural science in national examination in academic year 2016/2017 (tcount = 3.103 > ttable =2.048 with significance level at α = 0,05 and coefficient of determination at 0.2560 (25.60%)

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based learning Berbantuan Media Gambar Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas III Gugus VII SD Di Kecamatan Sukasada Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian eksperimen ini jenis eksperimen semu yang didesain dengan konsep non-equivalen post-test only control group design. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 154 orang yang merupakan siswa kelas III Gugus VII SD Di Kecamatan Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Sebanyak 33 siswa melas IV SD Negeri 2 Selat terpilih sebagai kelompok eksperimen, sementara 30 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Selat terpilih sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar IPA menggunakan metode tes (post test). Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan hasil thitung 9,704 > ttabel = 0,254. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based learning Berbantuan Media Gambar Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas III SD Di Kecamatan Sukasada Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) listening learning (mirengang) "Satua Bali" assisted by audio visual media for mentally disabled students, and (2) implementation of listening learning (mirengang) "Satua Bali" assisted by audio visual media for mentally disabled students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research design. The subject in this study was a teacher who taught retarded students in IIC class SDLB Negeri 1 Buleleng and the object was listening to learning (mirengang) "Satua Bali" assisted by audio-visual media. The data collection method uses the method of documentation, observation and interviews. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that (1) the teacher was able to design listening media (mirengang) "Satua Bali" assisted with audio-visual media through YouTube videos and the teacher told stories with the help of pictures. (2) the implementation of listening to (mirengang) "Satua Bali" assisted by audio visual media is effectively carried out by the teacher. This is evident from the conducive learning situation, and there is an increased interest in student learning. Keywords: audio visual, listening (mirengang), mental retardation
