Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of the banana inflorescence addition of pH values andsensory venison meatballs. The method used is complete randomized design (CRD), method consisting of 5treatments and 3 replicates. Treatment 1 = A1 (100 grams banana heart and 100 grams of venison), 2 = A2treatment (80 grams of banana heart and 120 grams of venison), 3 = A3 treatment (60 gram banana heartand 140 grams venison), 4 = A4 (40 grams of banana heart and 160 grams of venison), treatment 5 = A5(20 grams of banana heart and 180 grams venison). The observed parameters are pH test meatballs andorganoleptic of color, the taste, flavor, and texture. pH test result obtained at pH values of highest meatballsA2 treatment namely 5.6, while organoleptic the test results show that the only scent that does not differmarkedly, while the color, the taste, the texture, the real power of different receipt (P>0.05)

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of the concentration of organic fertilizer of soil on the production of King grass (Pennisetumpurpuroides). This research using methods of randomized block design 3x2 treatment with 3 replicates. Treatment of I = K1L1 (clay fertilizer dose is 6 kg/plot), II treatment = K1L2 (clay fertilizer dose is 12 kg/plot), treatment of the III = K1L3 (clay fertilizer dose 18 kg/plot). The parameters observed were brangkas wet weight (height of plants, number of stem per block, number of leaves, stem diameter, heavy wet per block), heavy wet leaves and dry weight of leaves. The results of the study increased the wet weight and dry weight of K1L3 with an average weight of 3,200 grams and dry weight. 440.1 grams. Abstract

The potential of PO cattle in Merauke is quite high, this is the basis for the government to establish Merauke as one of the regions in eastern Indonesia as a center for beef cattle breeding. Efforts to increase population are carried out by utilizing reproductive technology in the form of artificial insemination (IB). IB failure can be caused by a number of factors including low quality of semen, unskilled inseminators and inaccurate detection of lust. The low quality factor of frozen semen can be caused by the post thawing process which affects the motility and viability. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of different temperatures in the field on the quality of post thawing semen. The method used in the form of macroscopic test of semen quality includes Motility, viability and abnormality The results showed that the thawing process with a temperature of 38oC for 30 seconds was the best time and the percentage of spermatozoa motility and viability reached 65.2% ± 0.5 and 72.2% ± 0.4. The conclusion of this study is that the best temperature in the post thawing process for PO frozen semen is 38oC for 30 seconds, and this result is normal in accordance with Indonesian national standards for frozen semen.
