Abstract

ABSTRACT: OVERVIEW OF TEENS KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DYSMENORRHEA FOR FEMALE STUDENT MTS NU MRANGGEN DEMAK REGENCY. Dysmenorrhea is stiffeness or spasms in the lower abdomen that occur before or during menstruation, which force women to take rest or cause declining their work quality and their daily activities. From interviewing 10 female students, there are seven female students who do not really know about Dysmenorrhea, one female student who know enough about Dysmenorrhea and two female students who already know about Dysmenorrhea. It maybe happen because there is no sosialitaion about healthy reproduction education in MTs NU Mranggen Demak regency. Purpose : of this research was to know about Dysmenorrhea understanding from female students of MTs NU Mranggen Demak regency. Method : this research is descriptive research with point time method. Total population consist of 84 female students from class VII, VIII, and IX, then sampling was performed using a stratified sample of 46 female students. Instruments in this study using a questionnaire with 20 deviation and frequency distribution. Results : obtained are the majority of respondens are mid-teens (ages 13-15 years) is 84.8% and the majority of respondens had less knowledge about Dysmenorrhea amounted to 78.3%. Conclusion : the majority of responden had less knowledge about Dysmenorrhea that is equalto 36 female students (78.3%).Keywords : Knowledge, Dysmenorrhea, Female Students of MTs

Abstract

Woman who had a period has to keep hygiene  their sex organ because at menstruation times their uterus veins were opened and could be easily infected. Pre study result showed that 6 of 10 adolescent girl in Wonolopo village don’t know  sex organ hygiene at menstruation times. Therefore it is important to conduct some health education about sex organ hygiene at menstruations times. To know the enhancement of adolescent girl knowledge about sex organ cleanness at menstruation times by passing counseling in Wonolopo village Mijen District. This research is quasy experiment research with Pre Test Post Test Design.  The population of this research is adolescent girl RW IV Wonolopo village amount to 57 people. Samples were taken to amount to 36 people. The sampling technique being applied was simple random sampling. Independent variable is counseling sex organ cleanness at menstruation times. Dependent variable is knowledge about sex organ cleanness at menstruation times. Statistic test was applied by using Wilcoxon test. Knowledge before helath education has mean score 10,89 and knowledge after health education  increases to be 18,31. Based on Wilcoxon test estimation p-value 0,000 (<0,05) so that there is a significant difference of knowledge about sex organhygienes at menstruation times between before and after health education. Abstract

Dalam upaya melindungi generasi muda dari bahaya asap rokok, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan siswa Sekolah Dasar dalam rangka mengembangkan ASETARO, sebuah komik pendidikan kesehatan tentang bahaya rokok. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui Diskusi Kelompok Tearah dan wawancara dengan wakil siswa sekolah dasar dan pustakawan sekolah, serta literature review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model komik yang disukai siswa adalah science fiction yang memberikan pengetahuan sekaligus membangkitkan imajinasi seperti pada science comic WHY! Pada umumnya siswa menyukai gaya cerita, gambar, dan warna dari komik tersebut. Selanjutnya para siswa masih membutuhkan informasi tentang kandungan racun dalam rokok, mengapa rokok bisa menyebabkan kecanduan dan penyakit, serta dampak rokok terhadap perokok aktif dan pasif. Selain itu ditemukan pula masih adanya anggapan bahwa perilaku merokok adalah perilaku orang dewasa, dan anak-anak tidak diperbolehkan merokok karena badannya masih lemah.  Simpulan penelitian adalah komik pendidikan kesehatan mengenai bahaya rokok akan menggunakan pendekatan science fiction. Smoking is harmful especially for children.  Children must be protected from the effect of tobacco use. Comic story book is one of the children’s favorite media. Comic can serve health educational purpose. The purpose of this study was to develop ASETARO, a Comic Story Book for primary school aged children, to help children learn about the effect of tobacco use for health. This research was a descriptive study with qualitative approach. Data collected through Focus Group Discussion with students from five Primary Schools at Semarang, interviews with the librarian form each school, and literarture review. Results of analysis studies showed that most students liked science fiction comics. The majority of the students likes Science Comic WHY? Analysis study also revealed that the students still need information about the harm of cigarettes, why smoking can cause addiction and disease, as well as the impact of smoking on active and passive smokers. Analysis study also found that some students still believe that smoking is an adultss behavior. Children are not allowed to smoke because the body is still weak. Based on the results of analysis studies was then to design and develop a draft of comic story book.

Abstract

Servicitis Cronica is an early stage of cervical cancer, which is a cancer that is developing organ in Indonesia. If Servicitis Cronica can be prevented earlier, the likelihood of cervical cancer incidence can be reduced significantly (long term).The type of analytic study with a total sample of 116 women of childbearing age.Parity variables, family planning and education are the only two variables, namely parity (0,012) and KB (0,035) because its significance is less than <0,05. The most influential variable is the parity variable because the smallest signification is 0.012.Keywords: servicitis cronica, IVA test, Female Age Fertile

Abstract

Minister of health decree No. 1457/ MENKES/ SK/ 2003 states that the minimum service standard in health sector for growth monitoring activitiesat integrated service post (Posyandu) in the office of Semarang Municipality targeted 80.17% children gain wight. But the gaining weight infants in the District Gayamsari were 72.09%.The study seeks to know the corelation between the level of knowledge and atittude of mothers following Posyandu and weight gain in children aged 2-3 years in the Sawah Besar Village Gayamsari District of Semarang. This study was a cross-sectional study a using a questionner. A sample were 87 mothers who had children aged 2-3 years in the Village and following the Sawah Besar Posyandu from total population 690 children were selected using a proportionate random stratified sampling method. The finding indicates that 46 % mothers had enough knowledge 48.3% mothers showed ‘not good’ attitute. Most of the children (59.8%) did not gain weight. There was a correlation between the mothers’ level of knowledge and attitute and the weight gain in children aged 2-3 years.
