Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya self-direction in learning pada siswa. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah meningkatkan self-direction in learning siswa. Studi yang digunakan berupa penelitian dan pengembangan metode. Hal ini karena intervensi yang menggunakan konseling kelompok teknik self-management dengan memadukan tazkiyatun nafsi masih belum ada maka peneliti baru akan mencoba membuat rancangan modul. Untuk itu langkah yang akan dilakukan adalah: (1) Membuat rancangan modul (2) Uji coba rancangan modul untuk melihat efektifitas (3) Evaluasi rancangan modul. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah (1) Memperoleh modul konseling kelompok berbasis teknik self-management tazkiyatun nafsi untuk meningkatkan self-direction in learning siswa. (2) Dari hasil uji coba Modul menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok berbasis teknik self-management tazkiyatun nafsi efektif untuk meningkatkan self-direction in learning siswa. Adanya peningkatan skor sebelum dan sesudah diberikan konseling kelompok berbasis teknik self-management tazkiyatun nafsi pada ke 5 subjek uji coba. Adanya peningkatan semua aspek self-direction in learning, yaitu insiatif sendiri, self planned, kebutuhan belajar, self conducted, dan evaluasi. (3) Evaluasi modul yang diperoleh dari feedback subjek uji coba menunjukkan penilaian positif terhadap pemberian metode, materi dan material.Kata kunci: self-direction in learning, konseling kelompok berbasis teknik self-management tazkiyatun nafsi,

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between parental mediation and addiction in late childhood. Participants of this research were sixty 5th-grade primary school students in Bandung. The instruments were questionnaire compiled based on the theory of Parental Mediation from Livingstone (2008) and Internet Addiction from Griffith (2015) and depth interview on some parents. The data was analyzed using the Spearman Rank. The findings showed that there was a correlation between parental mediation and internet addiction. Parents used mediation behavior to reduce children's internet activity. However, the children perceived it has no impact on them.

Abstract

SATPOL PP Bandung  have big challenges in doing their job. The challenges come not only from external factors, such as the resistance of the street vendors but also from internal factors such as conflicts within the member themselves. It requires character support for achieving success in performing their duties. The previous research found that the SATPOL PP Bandung members have five dominant characters, those are Keberagamaan (Spirituality), Kebersyukuran (Gratitude), Motivation (Hope), Teamwork and Justice (Justice). To achieve well-being condition and doing job effectively, a module was constructed that consist of those five characters. The purpose of this study was to compare the comprehension of SATPOL PP Bandung about those characters, between before and after the of Character Strength training. The method used was Comparative and the results of the module test showed significant differences in comprehension for character Keberagamaan, Kebersyukuran, Motivation, and Teamwork. While the character of Justice did not show any significant differences in comprehension between before and after training. This is because SATPOL PP Bandung in doing their job only follow the procedures and directions from their Superiors and was not allowed to take other actions beside the policy.

Abstract

The purpose  of this study was to gain empirical data about  correlation  between  dzikir intensity after pray /shalat  and emotional intelligence on students of SMU X and SMU Y in Bandung. This study used correlational method. The  benefit of this study  was  to bring information to both school about the dzikir intensity and emotional intelligence of its pupil. Hypothesis of this study was  the lower dzikir intensity after pray the lower emotional intelligence. To collecting data was used dzikir quesioner which consructed based on dzikir theory and emotional intelligence quesioner which constructed based on Goleman theory. Both of data was ordinal data,  so the Rank Spearman correlation technique was used to analyze the data. The result was indicate that there is correlation between dzikir intensity and emotional intelligence.  It means the lower dzikir intensity after pray the lower emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Abstract. The transition of learning and teaching methods occurred in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. This situation makes students have to be able to make adjustments to different situations, however, students still have demands, in addition with the pandemic situation that makes students stressed. Stress experienced in education is called academic stress. Many things can be done by students to overcone with stress, one of them is with mindfulness. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of mindfulness on academic stress in SMAN X Cianjur students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research sample amounted to 298 students with a sampling technique was using proportionate stratified random sampling. The measuring instrument used is Child and Adolescent Mindfulness Measure for mindfulness, and Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents for academic stress, both measuring instruments have been translated into Bahasa. This research uses a causal quantitative approach. The data analysis technique was carried out using simple linear regression with the results of the regression coefficient being negative and based on the results of the determination test, it was obtained Rsquare: 47.2%. The results show that if students have low mindfulness, it will cause high academic stress. Abstrak. Transisi metode belajar dan mengajar terjadi di Indonesia selama pandemi Covid-19. Situasi ini membuat pelajar harus bisa melakukan penyesuaian terhadap situasi yang berbeda, namun demikian siswa masih memiliki tuntutan, ditambah dengan situasi pandemi yang membuat siswa menjadi stres. Stres yang dialami dalam pendidikan disebut stres akademik. Banyak hal yang dapat dilakukan oleh siswa untuk mengatasi stres tersebut, salah satunya dengan mindfulness. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh mindfulness terhadap stres akademik pada siswa SMAN X Cianjur di masa pandemi Covid-19. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 298 siswa dengan teknik sampling menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Child and Adolescent Mindfulness Measure untuk mindfulness, dan Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents untuk stres akademik, kedua alat ukur telah diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif kausalitas. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan hasil koefesien regresi bernilai negatif dan berdasarkan hasil uji determinasi didapatkan Rsquare: 47.2%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jika siswa memiliki mindfulness yang rendah, maka akan menyebabkan stres akademik yang tinggi.
