<![CDATA[Breech delivery is a delivery with elongated position with the buttocks or feet as the lowest part. The factors that influence breech delivery that are the infants’ birth weight and mothers’ parity.The formulation of the problem in this research was “was there any correlation among the infants’ birth weight and mothers’ parity with breech delivery case in Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang 2013?” The objective of research was to know the number of breech delivery, the infants’ birth weight and mothers’ parity with breech delivery case, as well as to know the correlation among the infants’ birth weight and mothers’ parity with breech delivery case toward maternals.This research used analytical survey method with retrospective approach. The sample taken was done with simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used questionnaire.The result of Continuity Correction on the variable of the infants’ birth weight with breech delivery case obtained p value 0.02 < α = 0.05, this means Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, it could be concluded that there was a significant correlation between the infants’ birth weight with breech delivery case, this means first hypothesis was proven statistically. The result of Continuity Correction on the variable of the mothers’ parity with breech delivery case obtained p value 0.05 < α = 0.05, this means Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, it could be concluded that there was a significant correlation between the mothers’ parity with breech delivery case, this means first hypothesis was proven statistically.It is suggested for the health employee especially for the midwives to increase the health service especially on the breech delivery case, and can give training about the information and counseling about breech delivery case. Persalinan Sungsang adalah persalinan dengan letak memanjang dengan bokong atau kaki sebagai bagian terendah. Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi persalinan sungsang yaitu Berat badan lahir bayi dan paritas ibu.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “ Apakah ada hubungan antara Berat badan lahir bayi dan paritas ibu dengan kejadian persalinan sungsang”?Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah persalinan sungsang, Berat badan lahir bayi dan paritas ibu pada persalinan sungsang, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara berat badan lahir bayi dan paritas ibu dengan kejadian persalinan sungsang pada ibu bersalin.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei analitik dengan pendekatan retrospective, penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel secara acak sederhana. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Check list.Hasil uji Continuity Correction pada variabel Berat badan lahir bayi dengan kejadian persalinan sungsang didapat nilai p Value 0,02 < α 0,05, hal ini berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak,dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara berat badan lahir bayi dengan kejadian persalinan sungsang, sehingga hipotesis awal terbukti secara stastistik. Hasil uji Continuity Correction pada variabel paritas ibu dengan persalinan sungsang didapat nilai p Value 0,05 < α 0,05, hal ini berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara paritas ibu dengan kejadian persalinan sungsang, sehingga hipotesis awal terbukti secara statistik.Disarankan kepada tenaga kesehatan khususnya kepada bidan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan khususnya pada kejadian persalinan sungsang, dan dapat memberikan penyuluhan berupa pemberian informasi dan konseling mengenai kejadian persalinan sungsang.]]>
