Abstract

This research is aimed at describing the various stereotypes, prejudices, and ethnocentrism which appeared in the character in the novel “Generation Golf”. The qualitative approach was applied in this research. Note reading technique was a technique used for data collection. The data analysis method was domain analysis. The result of the research indicates that there are kinds of stereotypes, prejudice and ethnocentric attitudes. Stereotypes appeared are learding to negative and positive kinds; kinds of prejudice appeared in the form of negative feelings, beliefs and actions; and ethnocentric attitudes are raised by attributing German’s culture with other nations

Abstract

Pengetahuan emosi memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap proses perkembangan, baik pada perkembangan sosial-emosional ataupun perkembangan kognitif. Pengenalan emosi pada anak usia sekolah merupakan suatu hal yang turut menjadi penting karena pada usia ini anak mulai mengembangkan pemahaman terhadap diri mereka sendiri dan menyadari bahwa mereka merupakan sosok yang terpisah dari orang lain. Program psikoedukasi pengenalan emosi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar terkait bentuk-bentuk emosi dasar manusia. Kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa psikoedukasi yang terdiri dari serangkaian kegiatan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab yang disertai dengan pemberian permainan berkelompok berbasis emosi-emosi dasar yakni “Ular Tangga Emosi”. Sasaran pada program ini adalah siswa kelas 4 SDI Baitut Taqwa Desa Belung sebanyak 14 peserta. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama dua jam pembelajaran. Hasil kesimpulan dari psikoedukasi ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan seputar emosi dasar manusia yang terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dari peserta psikoedukasi. Kata kunci—Psikoedukasi, Pengenalan Emosi, Emosi Dasar Abstract The knowledge of emotions has a major influence on the development process, both on social-emotional and cognitive levels. Recognition of emotions in school-age children is also important because, at this age, children begin to develop an understanding of themselves and realize that they are separate figures from others. This emotional recognition psychoeducation program aims to increase elementary school students' understanding of the basic forms of human emotion. The activities carried out are in the form of psychoeducation consisting of a series of lectures, discussions, questions, and answers accompanied by the provision of group games based on basic emotions, namely Snakes and Ladders of Emotions. The target audience of this program is the 4th grade students of SDI Baitut Taqwa Belung Village, with as many as 14 participants. This activity will last for two hours of learning. The conclusion from this psychoeducation shows that there is an increase in knowledge about basic human emotions, as seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test of the psychoeducational participants. Keywords—Psychoeducation, Emotion Recognition, Basic Emotions
