Abstract

The Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia explicitly states that the main task of the government of the Republic of Indonesia is to advance general prosperity, to develop the nation's intellectual life, and to realize social justice for all Indonesian people. Social inequality is a problem that is still faced by Indonesian people today. To solve the problem required supporting data analysis as a basis for policy formulation. This research was conducted with the aim of clustering provinces in Indonesia based on community welfare indicators using K-Means cluster analysis. K-Means cluster analysis is chosen based on the variance value (0.101), which is smaller than the variance value in the average linkage cluster analysis (0.152). Based on data analysis, provinces in Indonesia are clustered into three where the first cluster consists of 21 provinces, the second cluster consists of 3 provinces, and the third cluster consists of 10 provinces. Each cluster has different characteristics that can be of concern to the parties concerned to overcome the social welfare gap. Besides, in order cluster results are more easily understood, visualization of results is added with a Geographic Information System (GIS) using Indonesian maps accompanied by differences in color gradations for each cluster

Abstract

AbstractThe tourism sector is one of the potential wealth of Indonesia, which is a source of foreign exchange income for the country. Village tourism is one of the tourism developments trends in Indonesia. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is the most popular tourist destination in Indonesia after Bali. Mendiro is located in Sukoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, which has a distinctive local culture and is still maintained and has the potential to be used as an alternative tourism village. The tourist village area owns so much potential, but there are still some things that have not been optimized especially in the field of promotion. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out community service targeting the Mendiro Community Groups (KSM) aimed at optimizing the ability of resources in the management of media promotion of tourism villages. This service method is implemented in the form of learning and community facilitation, which is divided into three stages, namely: (1) preparation, (2) implementation, (3) evaluation and plan for program sustainability. Based on the evaluation results obtained information that there is an increase in understanding of community service participants related to Google Form extension by 21.01% and an increase of 58.7% for Kahoot game media extension. Besides, it was known that overall the participants stated that there was training provided by a useful team which could be used by participants to manage the tourism village and needed to be held again. Keywords: The Village Tourism; Google Form; Kahoot; The Community Groups.

Abstract

The Qur’anic Self-Development (PDQ)-Ta'lim Program is one of the student activities that must be followed by diploma and bachelor program students in Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). The implementation of PDQ is coordinated by each faculty which is carried out for 4 semesters with 12 meetings for each semester. After carrying out PDQ activities, it is necessary to know the student profiles that can be used as the basis for policy making in the implementation of PDQ activities in the next period. In order to find out the profile of students after participating in PDQ activities, it is necessary to group these students based on related variables. This study uses the ROCK method to group students participating in the PDQ Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UII batch 2020. The ROCK method is a robust agglomerative hierarchical-clustering algorithm based on the notion of links. The ROCK method is a suitable clustering method for grouping data with categorical variables. Based on the results of the analysis of the ROCK method of student data for the batch 2020 FMIPA UII, obtained three optimum clusters (k=3) at a threshold value of θ of 0.20. Threshold 0.20 has the smallest SW/SB ratio value of 0.0514 or 5.14% and the largest R-squared value is 61.76% compared to other thresholds.

Abstract

This research is focused on learning media in the form of asynchronous videos as a learning mitigation effort during the Covid-19 pandemic for Calculus 1 subject. The objectives of this study were tevaluate the learning media provided during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data sources used are primary data from Final Exam (FE) scores before the pandemic (academic year 2018/2019 and 2019/2020) and during the pandemic (academic year 2020/2021), as well as questionnaires distributed to students. The analytical methods used are Kruskal Wallis test, Mann-Whitney test, Importance-performance analysis (IPA), and text mining. The results showed that there were differences in FE scores for each academic year. The highest average and median scores of FE are in the 2020/2021 academic year. This shows that the online learning method through videos in the Calculus I subject for the 2020/2021 academic year has succeeded in increasing scores of FE student. Based on the results of IPA, the average value of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) is 97.97%, with details of 50% on priority achievement, 33.33% on top priority, and 16.67% on low priority. The results of text mining related to learning media show that the videos provided are easy to understand, interesting, and clear in explaining the material.
