Abstract

Rehabilitasi psikologis sebagai program dalam menangani masalah psikologis dan perilaku tahanan saat ini sangat intensif dilakukan oleh manajemen Lapas Kerobokan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan meditasi cinta kasih kepada para warga binaan yang sedang menjalani rehabilitasi psikologis (terutama karena kecanduan narkoba). Meditasi loving-kindness berfokus pada menumbuhkan perasaan cinta dari dalam dan dapat membantu tahanan untuk menjadi lebih bahagia dan menumbuhkan harapan bagi masa depan. Kegiatan meditasi dilakukan dalam empat pertemuan dengan durasi pelatihan selama 90 menit. Kondisi psikologis diukur dengan skala DASS. Hasil analisis data dengan uji Paired t-test dengan bantuan SPSS 20 menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan meditasi tidak signifikan dalam menurunkan simtom stres, depresi, dan kecemasan. Namun hasil refleksi diri warga binaan secara kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa peserta merasa lebih tenang, lebih menyadari tubuh, dan merasa memiliki harapan di masa depan setelah latihan meditasi. Hal ini mengimplikasikan, bahwa secara kualitatif meditasi tetap membantu warga binaan di Lapas Kerobokan untuk belajar menyadari diri dan menjadi sarana keterampilan mengelola emosi agar dapat menumbuhkan benih pemikiran welas asih.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide additional knowledge and mindfulness skills to teachers in elementary schools in the Badung regency. The service team expects teachers who practice mindfulness to prevent work burnout, develop more positive emotions, and have self-help supplies to reduce personal stress. The training activities are carried out in two forms, online and outside the network, focusing on psychoeducation and mindfulness practices. A total of 40 teachers from various school representatives attended the training activities. The face-to-face training activities took place at SD No. 3 Sempidi. This activity results in the teachers' understanding of mindfulness increasing. The teacher can practice several mindfulness techniques. The teacher can choose the mindfulness technique that is deemed suitable and get benefits from the training. The service team hopes that mindfulness training results can provide hands-on experience related to mindfulness and its various benefits for elementary school level teachers in the Badung regency. Abstract

The results of the initial situation analysis show that some of the inmates in the Kerobokan Prison need psychological assistance to increase life satisfaction or subjective well-being. High subjective well-being indicates that inmates have good life satisfaction. One of the activities that can be addressed to improve subjective well-being is cognitive-behavioral group counseling. As many as 20 inmates participated in group counseling activities. The results of the quantitative analysis did not find significant differences in the level of subjective well-being before and after the counseling activities. However, qualitatively, the participants stated that they felt cared for, supported and valued through the activities they carried out. The assisted residents hope that counseling activities can be carried out more frequently. The results of this activity imply that the provision of continuous psychological service assistance is still needed by inmates at the Kerobokan Prison.
