Abstract

Peringkat PISA matematika Indonesia terus menurun. Peringkat terendah diperoleh Indonesia pada tahun 2012, yaitu peringkat 64 dari 65 negara yang berpartisipasi dalam PISA matematika. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa Indonesia dalam hal literasi matematika masih rendah, termasuk kemampuan penalaran matematis. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis adalah melalui soal-soal matematika model PISA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan soal PISA konten space and shape yang valid untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau kelas IX yang berumur maksimal 15 tahun. Penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai tahap one-to-one. Dalam penelitian ini dihasilkan prototipe I soal PISA konten space and shape untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sekolah menengah pertama.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) on the mathematical communication skills of eighth grade students of Karang Dapo State Junior High School 2016/2017 academic year. This study uses the True Experimental Design method (pure experiment) with the research design used is the pretest posttest control group. Data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. The study was conducted in class VIII of Karang Dapo Public Middle School in the 2016/2017 school year. 5 (five) meetings were held, with details of 3 (three) learning meetings, 1 (one) pretest and 1 (one) posttest. Of the 103 students who were members of 4 classes VIII, a random sample was taken with the aim that all classes have the same opportunity to become samples. Based on the results of data analysis with a significant level α = 0.05. The average score of mathematics communication skills of the experimental class students was 25.64 and the control class was 17.02. In conclusion, there is a significant influence of the SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) on the mathematical communication skills of Grade VIII students of Karang Dapo Public Middle School. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Problem Solving Ability of Elementary School Class Students after the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI) was applied. This research is a quantitative research using experimental methods. The sampling technique used was a random sample technique. Where for the sampling method, which is drawn, the names that come out when drawn will be agreed to serve as the experimental class. This research consists of one independent variable, namely the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI), and the dependent variable is Problem Solving Ability. The subjects of this study were third grade students of SD 3 Lubuklinggau. Data collection is done by test technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using the t-test. After the data was analyzed using the t-test at a significant level of 5%, it was obtained tcount (7.57) > ttable (1.672), so it can be said that there was an increase in the problem solving ability of third grade students at SD Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau after the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI) was applied. . In conclusion, there is an increase in the problem solving ability of elementary school students after the implementation of the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics (PMRI) approach.
